This. I smashed 6 jund decks in a row at one point with esper. Unfortunately my streak ended when in my last draft I opened no esper cards, took a ceradon and then got tricked into GWr w/ a 4th pick branching bolt. Painfully picked up a sludge strider 12th and passed 4!! esper shields. Ugh.

Decided to play ACR swiss since it was nixtix and I had CR already. This pretty much looks like a disaster deck imo. First pick - Drumhunter never a great feeling (only other choice was fatestitcher - which probably would have been better). However, the joys of both swiss and ACR allowed me to go 3-0. In the semis, my opponent never found his 4th color in either game leaving agony warp and some other cards dead in his hand. In the finals, my opponent mana screwed 2 out of the 3 games. One day I'll try something other than ACR maybe.

Soul's majesty is dreadful, I'd play the igneous pouncer over it. Drumhunter is surprisingly mediocre in ACR (compared to how amazing it was before) but I'd take out the gift of the gargantuan put in another krainocerous in there. I also hate armillary sphere in this format but it's not terrible for you because of the black splash... with the post, pouncer and the one swamp I'd consider taking it out too... maybe for a quenchable fire?

Why is it bad? It's been pretty much the nuts the few times I've played green and had it. Drawing 3-5 cards midgame is usually very good.

Though first pick fatestitcher is def better than the drumhunter.

Soul's Majesty (never played it before - 7th pick), I didn't really get a chance to evaluate since I don't think that I drew it in 7 games. I don't hate the idea of it since I feel that it often goes off for 3 or more. I can see it being either great or terrible.

I think that Gift is fine in the deck. I really want to try and find Karthaus if possible. I also ran good with it by putting 3x land on the bottom and hitting relative cards other times. I can see some advantage to getting rid of sphere/majesty for pouncer/kraniocerous though

Fatestitcher start could have been - Tidehollow Strix, Viscera Dragger, Fleshbag, Fire-Field Ogre, Blister Beetle, Soul Fire, Puppet Conjurer

The games that I played were strange even for a swiss. In 3 rounds, Naya, Jund-u, and Esper - removal that I saw from my opponents games/replays was limited to a magma spray, crystallization and agony warp. Most games had really slow starts as well.

Soul's majesty is bad and clunky and bad.

Gift of the gargantuan is one of those cards that seems like it should give you some sort of card advantage but then it sometimes doesn't and usually just puts you behind on the most important turn in the set. Their 2/3 bird is gonna kill you while you draw forests. Losing a card to "put three forests on the bottom" is terrible, even if it happened to work out.

In general ACR is actually incredibly fast.

Edit: About drumhunter.. It used to be very, very good because games were slightly slower in AAA and AAC. A fourth turn that didn't win wasn't a huge deal, and two of the solid decks were bant and naya, so getting a heavy guy out wasn't too difficult. All of the blades and esper becoming dominant changed that completely... if you aren't playing a threat on turns 3+4 (except with heavy control jund that can kill + catchup) you lose. Even against strong competition in 84s the aggro decks just crushed.

Soul's Majesty is fine in the big ****ters Naya deck. And that deck sucks. But if you happen to be playing it, it's fine.
