I think it really falls flat vs Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition (and vs BG2 and PS:T). Which is a real pity. Pillars is just too "safe" design.

Having spent more than 30 hours in all of those games, Pillars is by far the best. If "safe" means well-designed and fun, then sure.

Witcher 3 > Pillars, but not by much, but Pillars is way way better than Inquisition.

Also the design in Pillars is easily the least safe of all those 3 and has the least formulaic tropes.

Some of the writing in Pillars is sublime.

I mostly don't like stealth games (other than Dishonored and games that use it well without being overbearing, like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon) but love platformers, so strongly considering Mark of the Ninja. I just don't like the idea of staying hidden for the sake of staying hidden, at which point it becomes tedious pathfinding (so like the sequences in Metal Gear games or Hitman Absolution) as opposed to using stealth as a means to an actual end. Anyone have opinions on where MotN falls on this scale? Seems closer to the latter but can't tell for sure.

I'd be interested as well. I've tried, but I just can't do stealth games, even Dishonored. I've had MotN on my wishlist for a while, might just go ahead and pull the trigger for the sake of it.

Screw it, just bought it. Had $3 in my wallet so why not.

Sale progressively getting worse...

Actually some of the Flash deals aren't too bad. I think I just don't want to buy anything anymore.

If anyone's actually interested in "winning" the monster game, head over here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/MSG2015

Step-by-step guide to setting up two greasemonkey scripts and how to join rooms running the same scripts. Took less than two hours to break level one million.

I meant it literally...do you get anything from it? I haven't even opened it at all.

I've gotten about 10 cards just from opening it on several occasions. Never had to click on anything.

You get trading cards which you can sell for $0.07. I sold mine the first couple days when they were worth more, now trying to craft badges...to earn more cards to sell, I guess.

Anyone familiar with Napoleon: Total War? It's $2 in the Humble Store to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Pretty well reviewed game, never heard of it or played a Total War game but will probably snag this even if it's just for the donation component.

I've just been opening the game, get 2 cards, close it, sell the cards. One of my cards today was a foil.

Is it reasonable to expect Cities Skylines to drop below 25% off?

It looks like a game i could sink a lot of time into. Is it as fun as it looks?

It was 33% off a few days ago and I assume it will be again during repeat day(s).

Have heard almost all good things about it. If you like the genre it seems like a can't miss.
