Div 3! After a ****ty start to the season, went on to win games #7, #8 and #9 needed 1 point in final match and get put into a match where i have insane delay lag and he obv has RM. Anyways got a pretty dirty point from that game after missing a penalty and hitting the crossbar once. First time I ever considered leaving game before 5mins tho...

Yes plz. Also dynamic weather would sweet. Like it could randomly start raining in the middle of the game, and there could be dif degrees of rain as well, maybe puddles forming on the pitch when it's really pouring down.

I still really, really like using Napoli. I have a bit of trouble with RM, but haven't had much trouble with Barca at all. Only Div 3, spent a lot of time in Div 5, but Hamsik is really incredible. I haven't hit volleys/power shots with anyone else like I have with him.

Almost got a full German team in UT. Only missing Neur, Lahm and Ozil. Have enough coins for one of them.

Ok great going to try it now in my 3rd attempt at div 4. Div 5 is soft went 5-0-1 but last attempt at div 4 lost 6 games in a row and got relegated.

I always use r2/l2 triggers in tight spots but I'll give L1 a shot

Are you using the default formation w/ Napoli? I tried them w/ 4231 and had trouble finding someone for RAM. Maggio is an option but I like him as a fullback. I tried Zuniga because he's fast but surely there's a better option.

Can you explain this fully? I know you say press L1 and then walk when player is close but i try this and 99% of times nothing even remotely looks like happening. I use precision dribbling when i need to turn sharply and look for a pass etc but infinitely rarely does it ever get me past a player.

Have created a new 'formation to end all formations' it's a hybrid of the last 'formation to end all formations' basically just pulled the middle ST down a bit into more of an AM role and the two AMs a bit deeper.

Have only lost 4 in about 25 in Divs 3/2//1, it's not just a counter-attack can also build up the play or play long balls, can do lots of things and has a solid amount of defensive cover.

L2 is for skill moves and other controlling the ball stuff, it was one of the main buttons in FIFA11 but pretty sure precision dribbling is something different and done with L1...

Ugh how do you play against kids who play essentially 5-0-5 and spam long balls to their "strikers"? I just played some guy twice in a row who did just that. I guess use the "defensive" tactic but other than that idk. He didn't score once but that was just cause he wasn't too great of a player. I can see how a good player could abuse the **** out of that.

no need to hold down the bumper, just tapping LB while making a cut makes defenders look absolutely silly

Division 1 is so tiring, unlike all the other leagues there's no player up there who is coming off a relegation i.e. bad form so everyone is really damn good and in form so you can easily go 4/5 losses in a row if you get bad draws and bad run of the ball so i've yoyo'd between Div1+2 a few times now, managed to stay in Div1 for about 5seasons in a row without being relegated but didn't win the title either - you need 7wins for title and 14pts to stay up. Still on 1 title and back in Div2

Really? L1 seems to do nothing, L2 seems to look like hes precision dribbling. I use the standard controls, havent changed a thing.

Yeah L2+ R2 is definitely better, whether it's precision dribbling or not.

precision dribbling is by far the most important one because it can be used in so many different circumstances

in old fifa games controlling the ball in tight spaces was always terribad and felt unnatural which made a real possession game impossible and counter-attacking overpowering.
now with prec dribbling you can do all the realistic turns etc to make attacks unpredictable

it is still super underused by most people tho which is why you see so many Real Madrid counterattack only sides which are unable to create when not having space.
possession football is basically impossible without useing precision dribbling properly

I always went with L1 as precision, even though it did little, because it does keep the ball extremely close to you (precision) and you're able to turn in tight spots. L2+R2 is a looser control but i'll take your guys word for it and try it out some more cheers

So you're using L1? or L2+R2? You need to step up to the plate and say what you're doing imo

can the precision dribblers around here (I personally don't use it) confirm that some really good players do it automatically when stuck in a small space ? It seems like that to me. From building up my VP I noticed there is a trait "precision dribbling", and I think it could be the ability to do it automatically in tight space (since I can initiate it myself without having the trait) ?
