Played 14 games so far of LP. Won 4 of them. The other 10 were all impossible to win, featuring griefing on my team and none on other team. Once i hit my 5 wins im paying $100 for mmr boost, ive had enough. will be boosting to 4.8k then quitting ranked until int ranked ends and swapping 4.8k to my normal mmr. Already contacted the booster and ready to go. Should only be 10 more games or so before I can win my last game required to get out of LP. Usually average 15 games or so and this is #15 so maybe ill get lucky. In the meantime while waiting for battle pass to end im going to find a way to abuse behavior score and get to perfect 10k there.

I didn't think it seemed too bad either. I really just wanted 4.5k but I guess when you spend $100 you got a 10% "discount" (lol). So 3.3k to 4.5k was $87 but it was only $100 to go from 3.3k to 4.8k.

Pretty much. I'm sort of expecting to drop down to low 4k but watevs. 4.8-4.9 is like the highest I ever got and I don't think I play at that level now. We'll see I guess.

so 3.3k -> 4.5k = ((1200 MMR / 25) * 30) / 60 = 24 hours worth of work assuming 30 minute games and every game won. holy fkk yea it's playing a game but 24 hours+ worth....... boosting life seems to suck lol

I don't think MMR boosters actually play games anymore. It's probably just a well-organized bot farm queued with Japanese language preference on Dubai servers or something.

This is a real dude afaik. Said it would take 2 weeks potentially. Other than them saying it wasn't a bot in their advertising or w/e the guy said it was impossible at first because he thought battle pass ended in like a week. If it was bots they could do it in a day easily (and I'd get banned prob).

I do know that some abuse bots to rank up though. I saw people advertising that as well

Here's where I found it, fwiw. It's crazy to me how low the price is for boost at low mmr. Makes you wonder why they even offer it at that point, since the hourly has to be super super low. If you are able to boost 6k mmr+ though it looks like you can make bank

Well I suppose, this guy lives in a country where the average gross income is around $600/month and they have 25%+ unemployment.

Maybe it's worth playing Dota2 for $1.50 a game at that point.

Where did he lane that MK?

I've been trying to get back into the MK saddle, even though the hero got shat on so hard with nerfs, but it's so very hard to snowball on it now.

It's a fun hero, but you just cannot solo carry on it anymore unless the enemy team has literally zero disable. There are always better options. Good vs heavy physical lineups though. Not a hero for boosting, imo.

He went mid and got firstblood and then he went back mid and died trying to dive tower. Lmao I can see from his mouse movements after he dove t1 and died he muted everyone. From then on he started roaming around.

Simply Aquila + Treads is actually a potent DPS combo (for agi hero ofc). Might be obvious but I underestimated just how much damage Aquila adds, it's like one of the cheapest items I'd consider for damage, along with phase and MoM

Aquila is indeed a highly efficient use of early game inventory slot.

Building Treads on specifically Monkey King is a one-way ticket to Frowntown, imo.

Chessie streamed last night from his 4.9k smurf taking votes in chat on hero selection. He was just straight raping. It would be a good watch for people who think they are too good for their MMR. When a 9k goes on a 5k account it's just ridiculous. He won every game I watched but I am sure there are unwinnable games even for him there.

From now on i'll just post a new update each full page of games he plays (17 games)

Overall record: 12-3 (80%).

Estimated MMR gain = 9*25 = 225 of 1425 (16%)*
*Assumes no double-downs are used, which I told them they could use and I get 3/week.

****ing Tinker... it makes sense that a booster would pick that hero. they should remove it just to hamper the boosters a bit 4Head

(actually have not really played Tinker due to such intense personal dislike)

interesting it looks like they take a 30 min break between games? i would expect a booster to be spamming the new queue button asap. maybe sufficient break time between games to regenerate is confirmed the way to gain MMR?
