Is the game more mechanic or decisionmaking oriented? My mechanics are rather poor and I usually make up for it by having better decisionmaking.

at first there's gonna be a huge learning curve from needing basic game knowledge of what the **** is going on.

basically most average to good players know every skills of all 112 heroes in the game and every items so it cant happen overnight

is it happening?

Could be envy+puppey with these two (envy and puppey both played with notail, ice3 seems to want an international super team, etc.)

or they could just be trolling

id say its a lot more decision making than LoL. takes a lot of getting used to the differences and farming is a lot harder

You can probably get close to 5k mmr on decision making alone. After that your mechanics play a big role. Im pretty terrible at video games mechanically (slow reaction time and button sequencing) and I was at one point near 5k, but I attribute it to decision making and straetgy, rather than mechanics. Also if you are better at decision making and suck at mechanics you should lean towards playing more of a support or split push hero. In my plummet to sub 3k mmr, the skill differential was not really that big, the decision making differential was (on average). I think the opposite would be true going from 5k to 6k mmr or 7k nmr, but I have no way of proving that, just an educated guess.

hey I started with lol too (I was awfull and Im not better at doto ) but I think dota is infinit harder to learn and I still dont know all heroes spells and items, and worse is if I play a new hero I have no idea what to build.
In dota the builds change a hero completely unlike LoL where u kinda stack AP or AD and ur good for it.
Most items in dota have a gamechanging active and you might very well have a build with 4 to 6 actives+hero ability which is a lot of clicks.
these items make some heroes day and night.
The map is way bigger and harder to learn as you have tons of small paths between the trees.

I think comebacks are more possible in dota than LoL and one single guy in dota wont carry a game as much as in LoL(maybe the fact u lose money when u die or how xp and gold is distributed idk but thats how I feel about the game).

one last note:I tried dota when LoL servers were down a few times and now Im addicted and havent open LoL in a year or 2 so beware

I have had the same feeling in LoL that I wasn't really much better mechanically even in much lower divisions. In Sc2 my APM was super low but I was always really good at reading opponent builds and positioning etc.

Not sure how the MMR-System works what are those MMRs in % ? Like 3k mmr is Top 80% or what etc.

seems highly unlikely that BDN and EE are in the same team, considering EE's ask.fm

Iceiceice, Notail + Puppey = Love. If aui joins them it will be extra dope. Add one more support and you've got 4 supports and one offlane. These guys are super likeable though so I hope they get together somehow.

EE = Cancer

Also, it's interesting to see how Kuroky comes across as extremely humble and calm in interviews and boothcams but players who've played with him thinks he's a terrible teammate.

interesting in seeing misery offlane, could be terrible for all we know.

pieliedie isnt a great support...

w33ha has potential but hes a dumbass, EE too.

Team could be really good eventually or really bad if w33 and misery dont fit

Pieliedie 5 position = Hard support. Misery is the offlaner.

apparently both s4 and arteezy were supposed to be in the team instead of w33ha at first

not sure why s4 didnt go through with it

Yeah not rooting for any team that guy is a part of. I wish him nothing but the absolute worst. Conflicted but I'd rather see that guy fail miserably than EE succeed.

Level 1 Ursa Rosh guide... really cool actually, though I tried it out in a bot game and it's really difficult to pull off.

Looks like allied a-clicking for deaggro doesn't work if enemy is in 150 units of you, interesting

I never knew that. Normally my rule for it is that you need to have another target for the enemy that's closer to him than you are. For example, if you want to remove aggro from a tower, you need a creep closer to the tower than you (you can target any ally on the map though). In this case, you can be within 150 units and it would still work. So I have no idea where the 150 units thing comes from.
