Aegis wouldnt of mattered in the end. NaVi's composure and Puppey's thought process and decisions were amazing. Well captained game imo

Not me. This might tick some people off but I don't like watching Alliance play. They just seem like a better chinese team with perfect teamwork and occasional interesting ideas. NaVi + Orange finals would have been great.

I have played Dota for 5 years and I've watched pro dota for around the same time. I've never seen anyone deny an aegis in a professional game by accident.

Alliance is a lock, it'll take some crazy pocket strats for navi to win a bo5.

lol.

akke and puppey are best west jungler supports, but for you to infer puppey is miles ahead of akke is pretty lol (unless you're trolling). overall i give puppey's chen a slight edge and akke's enchantress an edge.

nah i think navi have a good chance after seeing what alliance wanted to do in their first bo3. they just need to have an answer for bkb which they did not have in either of the other 2 games. and i think if they just ban the nature's prophet they can pick a strong 5 man lineup to counter alliance's preference to group up (alliance like to 5man in the mid game unless they have prophet/PL/kotl). i would also like to see them either pick or ban the alchemist in the 2nd stage. the hero just farms too fast and gets really strong too early to give him a free farm lane.

I hope navi picks dendies pudge 1st game and pub stomps alliance.

Really sad that LD+Lumi are casting the finals for the 2nd time. They were bad last year. Just because they are North American, doesn't mean they should get auto final.

Pretty sure Valve are still pissed with Tobi about what he did last year so they passed it to LD and Lumi again.

i think its safe to say they are the 2 best in the world actually. they both just play chen/enchantress so much more than any of the chinese.

I think it's more that Valve dislikes Tobi for some of his antics

Hardly the point I meant to make though. They are definitely neck and neck in skill with both chen and enchantress, and I think Akke is the overall better support player. Much more flexible player than puppey, I remember when he used to play support gyro for nth and transition into a carry late game. I was only saying that the body block was far from special. I have tons of respect for Akke though, he is the most consistent player at ti3.

This is the second accidental aegis deny I've seen in a pro game, the last being a couple of months ago but I can hardly remember it. The stakes weren't nearly as high of course.

I've been staring blankly at my screen after the aegis deny. WTF just happened.

Anyway whatever happens in the grand finals, its good to know that a US team is taking it down.

Puppey > Akke just for being a better overall player with his range of players and him being the smarter player. Akke>Puppey with Enchant though. I still think Maelk is the best jungle player ever.

Dota player draft anyone?

the interesting thing about this navi alliance match is that alliance seems to be content to leave wisp in the pool. gonna be interesting to see if navi still picks it after losing both games in the prior series. i hope they pick it and just pick a better hero to combo with it.
