@Dudes raiding 25

How often do your guilds go back and do achievements for the frostwyrm? Which ones are hardest? Think it will take a lot of effort to convince them to do achievements rather than hard modes?

I know that some are impossible to do with heroic modes turned on, but I'm raiding again for the next 2-3 months with my guild and I'd love to get a 310 mount. They just killed H Sindragosa, leaving them at 11/12, and it doesn't seem like they have any real serious desire to down LK before Ruby Sanctum (like spending 4 hours wiping to him). I figure at this point a lot of people probably still need 277 loot, including myself, but at the same time they might take an easy week or a nerdpoints week and collect some achievements.

No way. The whole point is to experience all the new changes to the zones and the new leveling paths while leveling up.

But I guess for the ZOMG 85 OR NOOB crowd it wouldn't make a difference.

We got the mounts the week after LK was released if I am correct, now just farming hardmodes. Mounts can come again once noone really needs loot, and loads of achievments are doable on hardmodes with the huge % buff.

Man just saw on MMOchampion that guild talents and path of the titans are gone. Was looking forward to those.

yeah it's pathetic, i'm seriously thinking it's activision pulling these strings: "but.hm that takes time and money to implement... how about some new medium glyphs instead? much easier and they'll still buy expansion"

We got blood queen hardmode down!!! we actually skipped blood council hm because we had to many melees and did queen hm instead, very hard fight especially for a healer but oh so fun, wiping 4 hours straight (20/45 hardmode tries left) but did it eventually at 1 am.. lol , vid will be coming soon i'll post it then

I am saving the Shaman and Druid class to level during Cata. I'm going to at least try and get my Pally/Priest as high as I can before then.

Are Outland/Northrend even getting any changes? Or is it just the old Azeroth areas?

Just the old zones, this is so cool because all the new areas will be the old world again which means much more activity in main cities instead of crappy dalaran or shattrath city

So leveling from 58 to 78 or 80 will remain largely unchanged?

I am guessing it will remain relatively unchanged. There's no reason for a Cataclysm on Azeroth to have any effect on Azeroth. Northrend could potentially undergo some changes but the questing there is already pretty decent, so I doubt you would see too many changes. It would be cool if they added maybe one 65-68 area and a 75-78 area in Azeroth, just to have another option.

I'd rather puke blood than go through outlands AGAIN. Northrend is much better. Personally, I'm going to see how it feels leveling that portion just with the dungeon finder system. (Rolling a healer for reasonable queue.) Might work great, might suck and I'll abandon the idea after a day.

I find the Outlands to be ridiculously easy nowadays.

I usually do Hellfire, Zangarmarsh, and like half of Nagrand and I'm 68 and ready for Northrend.

Takes 4 nights of playing, tops.

i don't believe that. anyone who has been playing as long as him knows it a non-issue. Also, he sat at his computer for what, 30 seconds before even typing in his screenname? And then waited another 10 to type in his password. Seems really fake to me.

It looks like he started to log into vent or some other voice chat, but everyone knows you do that when your character is on the loading screen.

It's not hard. Just not fun.

Finally got to fight the Lich King tonight. 10-man regular mode, we didn't have long but of all the attempts the furthest I made it was phase 1.5.

We all grouped up for phase 1.5, which I thought was bad after watching the tankspot video, and we took a crap-ton of raid damage from pain and suffering. A few times we made it to the end of this phase, but I was never alive for that.

I'm just glad to say that I got to throw a few spells in his face, in his house. None of that end of HoR crap!

That's the only spells I've thrown in his face.

I have 3 80s, I'd rather go through outlands again than northrend. Outlands is at least shorter.
