if you agree than booked - booked
I'll give weekly updates on the players and you can make sure that I don't screw up or cheat. Good luck!

Because they're in Wales in October?

Go Europe!
You ever spent several hours outside drenched in the cold? Doesn't really matter how much fun your having (and I have had a TON of fun - I used to play the bad guys for 82nd airborn in similar situations), unless your in the exact moment of bliss (for instance, a 250M head shot on a machine gun nest), you don't smile. It's to damn cold. You try to keep warm and keep your feet dry.

Give it a week and you'll hate them. Trust me.

It's not like Tiger and some of the other players look happy on a calm and sunny day either. If I were able to make millions on a hobby I'd have a ****ing smile from ear to ear at the course, just like this

You say that, but how many poker players turn pro, then hate the game?

And even if you like poker, it's not like you're in some state of euphoria while actually grinding. You're focused on the game.

Are we talking about the pro grinders at 50NL or the top players here?

I can see why the 50NL pro grinder who has to make $$$to pay rent every month might hate it sometime, but I can't see the top notch players who live good without so much pressure making $$$ every month feeling miserable.

I was talking about the top players in the world not the ones that drive around the US playing week out and week in trying to hold on to that PGA tour card.

I like how they put berries on it... It can't be bad, it's fruit!

Sure looks better than this though, which is closer to my typical breakfast (add a cup of coffee).

I'm still around. I spent Monday-Friday of last week driving back from Vegas. I spent the weekend recovering. I'll be spending this week catching up on my correspondence and scheduling. I'll be checking in here, but, for the most part, I am going to be focusing on trying to get business back under control--at the moment, it is a goat screw.

I've texted some with Kurt. Just enough to establish that he is alive and healthy. That was back when AnAnonymousCoward was trying to get together with him in Cali. We shouldn't be expecting to see much of him for a while.

Pretty sure he means that any people who live in europe who have half a sense of how to dress don't care, but they do golf.

Welcome back Mpethy. Sorry for the goat screw, but glad to have you back anyway.

Hopefully Kurt hooked up (or decided to disappear with wife/GF) and is having a good time in a world that doesn't involve the internet!
