Mehhhh. Nicki Minaj verse is such a sore spot on "Monster," and I can't figure out why he would add that throwaway verse from Big Sean on "See Me Now". With that said, Pusha T on "Runaway" is solid, and Rick Ross kills his spot on "Devil in a New Dress." Also how could you not like Raekwon on "Gorgeous," everytime I hear it I freak out a little bit.

Agree with Minaj, Ross and Pusha (i actually keep forgetting runaway is on there because i wore it when it came out initially and haven't gone back to it since i got the album). I was thinking more of Chris Rock, Fergie (could do with never hearing her try to rap again) and Rza (i don't know if he did the production on that track too or just the verse, but his verse is just plain lazy and ruins the whole song for me).

Raekwons verse is great, but he doesn't outshine Kanye, who i think is close to perfect on that track, and the inclusion of Rae at the end just seems unnecessary. And this is kind of what i'm getting at. In previous albums Ye definitely got outshined on some of his own album tracks, but here i think he gets the best of everybody on pretty much every track (i know somebody was asking before if Pusha had started ghostwriting for him, i don't know, but his lyrics/flow are exceptional on this album). I've pretty much hated every single GOOD Friday track to come out so far because i think he tries to cram too much talent into every release. Hats off to him for trying and he is doing something that hasn't really been done before, but i think far too often the results just don't gel and could do with one or two less spots on the tracks.

Fair points DW, I guess I agree for the most part. OTOH, I think Kanye is smart to have lots of guest spots--unfortunately he kind of overdid it here. I thought some of the GOOD Friday tracks were awesome ("Christian Dior Denim Flow" and "The Joy" in particular).

Also, FERGY?! My version of the album does not have a Fergy appearance (thank god).
