ha. i don't think you realise the difference not having coloccini in defence makes, let alone how terrible our away record has been over recent years.

don't get me wrong, i absolutely agree we have a better side than them, it's just not as great a price as it looks - it never is with the bookies.

Fair point, but your defence isn't that bad. Sure you've conceeded 9 goals away from home, but 7 of those were against Man City and Everton, who I think you'll agree are better sides than Newcastle.

In the last 5 games you've scored 10 goals, sunderland have scored only 3. Granted they have played Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool. But they also failed to score vs Fulham, West Brom and Swansea.

Newcastle can score, Sunderland can not.

2.70 or 17/10 was a great prcie its now dropped to 6/4 and 13/8 at most bookies.

I'm pretty sure you will win! I'm surprised in your lack of faith!

ha, i think i'm just a pessimist when it comes to these things. but that's perfectly understandable when you've followed newcastle for over 15 years!

I just watched the documentary to that report about Japan. Pretty insane. 40yr old guys with virtual girlfriends that they carry around in their pockets. No interest real life women.

A generation with a completely negative outlook on their future.

Very sad. Such a great nation in so many ways but very dysfunctional in others

I think it is just more accepted there so it is more common. It's not like everyone in the country is doing that, it is probably a small percentage of their population and it seems so weird to the rest of the world so these articles and videos make it seem like a huge problem.

There is a huge difference in culture and there is a lot more pressure for people in western societies to be in relationships. One reason is that it's common for adult children to live with their parents in eastern cultures but not in western cultures which is extra motivation to find a partner since you will actually be alone if you don't.

The point of the documentary was that it is NOT a small percentage but a large percentage. The population could decline by 30-40% in 50 years.

We're all aware of the cultural differences but they are saying the opposite in happening in other Asian countries like China/ Vietnam and it's only Japan that is seeing this trend.

Also in some European countries like Spain/ Italy you have similar family cultural values like in Asia and 3 or 4 generations live together so its not quite East v West.

Its an interesting watch. Link is here but not sure you can access outside UK.

Didnt even see they were losing lol. Far too excited for Classico in 15 minutes, all though I have a strong feeling it will be ****. Barcelona not very great lately and Real Madrid basically only has Ronaldo and Di maria worth watching.
