Pokie on the other hand is an attention seeker clown with no infraction points but receives 0 respect anywhere he posts and is being ignored by half of this forum.

re: Pokie discussion, people here don't seem to understand how a forum works and what roles moderators/infractions/bans play.

even if Pokie is trolling (i genuinely believe he isn't and anyone who does probably doesn't realize what trolling actually is) he does it in a way that isn't obvious at all and as a results mods can't infract/ban him -- they'd basically be infracting/banning him for coming across as a little stupid which would be a terrible thing to do in this sub-forum.

Yeah I'm not defending what I have done or anything. But I've got 50 infractions points for saying "fold pre" and "who knew short stacking could be so hard". And then in other threads pokie is calling people bad, mr 2nl, giving nonsense advice, saying the same type of things I said in that thread yet I am 60 infraction points richer in a matter of days and he's been doing it for longer than a year now.

Btw sorry if this comes across as an attack on pokie. It's not I promise. You're just the perfect example for my case.

And yes it was childish for trolling someone just because he plays short stacked, again not defending anything I have done and I am sure it was well worth the infraction points. Just seems a bit unfair that's all.

Also, the Mzbourg account seems to come across a lot more levelly and also a lot more knowledgeable about poker in the main, whereas the Hicham account kind of came across a bit dumb sometimes, I must say.

wrt ss'ers, they have every right to do what they do, yea killing the games is bad but i'm sure that most of them aren't even aware that they're doing so (if they are then fair enough, they deserve a bit of hate but at the same time trying to explain why it's bad to short stack is better than just hurling abuse at them)

I agree 100%. I'm glad Mpeth came in and tried to clean up the trolling - b/c it was out of control and ruining the forum- but how Pokie and others survive I have no clue. Trolls, derails and makes a mockery of every thread he enters.

Every year theres always someone doing some superhuman feats of endurance...but strangely I find Diana Nyad's swim to be something truely awesome. Maybe its because shes a female and old and she did it before some young male.

Well done Ron. It's a hard slog that. My dad does a ton of fell running in the lakes and did the legendary Bob Graham Round when he was younger (72 miles over 42 mountains in 24hrs). I've never followed in his steps! He still regularly does long distance mountain runs at 62 and completed the Everest Mountain marathon 2yrs ago at the ripe old age of 60. The marathon starts at base camp!
