Thanks sm1t and Rosh for the reply ... much appreciated.

I played in the happy hour at 3 - 4pm yesterday and today and it took a fair while for TST to pick up enough tables over a score ive configured.

Ive decided to not bother at all in the day time and just work or go out ... maybe study a bit if i get the urge ... or poker itself if i get a massive urge !

But im going to attempt to play 2 evening sessions from 6pm to 1am, have a break at 9.

Im not one to play much over the hour mark so im going to have to alter the mindset somewhat.

Im less than $100 away from a $1k roll and a attempt at $25nl ...want to crack on over the next couple of months.

I've noticed a weird phenomenon over recent months. I'm from the UK and on the rare occasions I see an Argentinian on my tables they immediately try to play every pot I'm in and 3bet me a ton. I'm thinking of calling this the Falklands/MalvinasThereom

Happened again tonight where someone was 3betting me around 30% (his standard 3bet was 7%) and when he wasn't 3betting he was cold calling. I think they see the 'UK' nationality and the red mist comes down.

It's a money spinner though so I'm not complaining

Don't know where you're from but I got this company to build a laptop for my poker needs last year and it's been excellent.

I used to geek out on my PCs and build my own. I worked for a computer company in college, and used to build them all the time. Nowadays, almost anything OTC is at a competitive price point to anything you can build (if not cheaper), and they come with better warranties. The box PCs come with a load of bloatware, so you have to be ready to purge that ****, but the HW should be solid.

For a poker machine, I would say buy a good laptop (i5 or i7 with 8G) with an SSD drive, and good video card that can drive an external HDMI monitor w/o any lag.

No need to chase sluts, show the money and they will come, and clothes is just clothes, buy cheap and can spend more on hookers and blows.

And if running bad mean less sluts, well maybe is for the best, you can skip herpes or something worse
