What is stopping you from doing exactly what they are doing?

Stars is going to make it that you can't be sitting out at a table not dealing hands. Apparently it is against the rules to be the 2nd person to sit out at a table without any hands being dealt. msnl players don't care about that rule though and stars is not enforcing it.

They play 3 handed for a few orbits, quit, and table closes. Guess who is sitting on the new table that generates!!?? You guessed it. Once the new table generates, they are sitting within 1 second, every time. Rinse and repeat. The current rule is obviously ridiculous and it would be really nice if Stars could respond in this thread.

Note: There are also a couple other ppl doing the exact same thing, just thought of them first.

If there's a lesson to take from this, it's that if the rules allow room for people to game them, people will game them. To the max. This type of **** needs to be systematically outlawed-- NO camping. Play heads up or gtfo.

arent you doing the same most of the time tho? tbh i cant even remember you starting tables, at least @ 2knl, you either already sitting out or go sit out..
i mean its obv fine/acceptable this days, but you acting all high and mighty on 2+2 and then doing pretty much the same thing at the tables does not compute.

I don't start tables when I'm already playing 6+ tables, so if you've seen me sitting out, that is why. There are also only a couple of guys at 10/20 who are even willing to start w me, so in general it is hard.

I do admit that I have sat on tables and sat out. However, I only do this with guys who won't play me HU to start a game anyway (forhayley, muha, katya, fish, sat1337, negrovente, ...), so I'm really not the one abusing the system when I'm the one who IS willing to play heads up.

In any case, the rules, regardless of my behavior, are obviously ridiculous. Why is there a standard where 1 guy sitting out is not camping, but 2 guys sitting out is camping? This just rewards whoever can get to the table the fastest, not who is actually willing to play to get the game going.

Additionally, I am guilty of stepping away from my computer for 15 mins to a couple of hours and staying on tables. This is because I have all of my non-active tables stacked, and can't be annoyed to leave them when I'm going to be coming back soon anyway.

It is just very annoying from my perspective that these guys are all buddies and work together to annoy the **** out of me to the point where I can't get on the tables, and it's all the result of a very bad rule from PokerStars.

wait so forhayley when he's not going to play you hu doesn't just sit out he actually waits until a new tables spawns then gets on that table? So you sit in willing to play and he makes your table close on you and you have to go sit at a new table and rinse repeat.

this isn't what 2shae is describing. They don't want to play 3 handed, so they play a few orbits and make 2shae have to go to their new table. this is unbelievable.

Stars is planning on making it so the newer table gets closed when action stops so this crap will get dealt with but wow. nl5k+ regs think this is acceptable

They are all ****ing scumbags. You should see their 5/6 sit out mafia on 888.

We are talking about people with no ethical compass whatsoever, willing to do anything to play high stakes poker with fish, and also prevent other people not in their mafia from playing. It even makes me feel uneasy to play 3 handed with two guys I know are very good friends, and I know I'm not the only HS reg who feels this way.

It makes me sick to think about how much money I've lost over the years by being behind the times on the newest scumbag moves.

Most of the Russian players that you have mentioned all do play 3handed, what they are doing on stars I don't think is scummy at all. They are not opening new tables once u sit to play 3handed, and just sitting out. They will sit in when the 3rd person sits and just open a new table then. I don't think there is any issues with this.
I personally don't like playing HU whilst having a few tables running. However I'm usually always going to play 3handed if I'm sitting at a new table waiting for action at the limits I usually play.

I actually think the current system is really good compared to 2 years ago but I think there are some minor tweaks to be made still. I'm very happy to see that Stars is trying to create a better environment.

It just tilts me that these guys practically cheat on 888. Their behavior is disgusting.

hayley, muha, katya, sat133 etc constantly camp the 5k 888 tables 5/6 full waiting for a fish.

Suprised they still bother given that its helped kill off 95% of the 888 highstakes action.

Sometimes when I unplug my monitor and I click the HH, the HH is not shown, I need to put it back on the monitor and drag it to my laptop screen. (using a mac), any solution for this? I tried to change resolution, but it didn't help. And stars is only site that it gets stuck.

I used to have that issue on windows, and there was a fix for it that I found by googling it. Not sure about Mac though, try google.

why not block the table by taking the 6th seat? It's obv annoying but that's the only thing you can do until 888 changes the rules (same **** happend on partypoker before they changed it).

yep 6th seat does get taken by a reg a decent amount but then more just spawn and fill. I've given up on 888 ever fixing it as their higher ups are even more incompetent than party. They actually did implement a "fix" that did not work as they didnt fully understand the issue(only kicked people off when they were sitting out if hands were being played) and then the 888 rep came into the thread saying something like "well that didnt work, back to the drawing board. gee these guys must be bored if theyre sitting out not playing 24/7."
