Not a good night for me. lose 10BI at my normal game cus I'm a spewtard. I get a chance to play an uber fish at 5kNL, and play. Throughout the whole game I'm playing scared as **** and my heart wont stop pounding at 150mph. In maybe 100 hands, I 3b once (JJ) and called like 2 of his 3bets. My gameplan was to play in position, and take him to valuetown, but I didnt get any cards and playing like a ****ing pussy prob didnt help either.

I check, Fish cbets pot (his std cbet size), I raise to $750, Fish calls $450.

I check, Fish pots after thinking $1850, I somehow call him, and he shows K8 for the $5500 pot. Top 5 biggest pots I've won or lost



I open to $100 with 55, Fish calls. Flop is 552. Fish checks, I bet $50 into $200, Fish calls. Turn is 3, Fish checks, I bet $100 into $300, Fish calls. River is 7. Fish checks, I bet pot, Fish calls the $500 with A7.

Anyways I manage to slowly lose 5k before fish leaves. I had auto top off on, so wasnt short stacked. Lesson learned: Dont take shot at even uberfish with almost 10% of online bankroll, when you know you're gonna be playing like a vagina.

ok reading now, just so I know what's going on can you confirm these assumptions i've made based on what i've read itt and the first few posts in that thread.

OP lost the original bet quickly and then decided to book another bet to do the same at 50nl. Here are my assumptions:

fees booked a lot of action against OP and proceeded to play a ******** of 50nl hu in order to win UGL instead of OP?

ha I think you got it backwards, I'm pretty sure Fee's put up 25k to win 2.5k. Sick way to try and grind out 1.25 buy ins at the stake you won the UGL the month before

what a ****ing dick move though seriously regardless of whether or not it was explicitly against the stated rules of the bet it certainly goes against the spirit of the bet, pretty scummy thing to do imo.


As for why he would do it for 25k? Doesn't he play a ton of HU anyways? I'm sure he spends a lot of time waiting for action anyways and I don't know how much time he spent but i'm sure his hourly was pretty decent.. Also scumbags gonna scum etc.

well ya, if he put action against op with the intentions of doing this then that would basically be the case but I'm getting the feeling he didn't actually start until it was clear the guy had a pretty reasonable chance to win in which case he would be doing it for the full 27.5k. (obv I don't have all the details so maybe that was his intention from the onset in which case I agree it's even more pathetic)

WCG then posts in the thread to say that even though he considers Fees one of his best friends IRL, he was never informed or asked about an escrow, the money just showed up in his account one morning)
