Okay, but then how do we make money? Obviously if you want to just make it so that fish last in poker as long as possible then you just make potential win rates very small and make everything 20 bb buy in or whatever, but then the only winner is the poker site itself. Many of us would be very upset if we could no longer make a living or a sizable side income from this game anymore.
^^^ if fish are enjoying the game more by changing buy in structure & making game faster then i dare say the fact fish are depositing more + attracting more fish in general= more good games running hence more profit. The hyper turbo guys are making more $ hence why they had to move over in the first place, you may experience more swings but the ability to play more tables(decisions easier) would imo make up for it.
I mean at the end of the day fish make the poker world go round & im just all for making their experience better, they may have lose just the same but have more win while doing so & in the short run win alot more as instead of having 0 shot 100bb+ deep, they now are a 30-40% dog.
Again just my 2cents on the matter, stars already came out & said the 100bb structure was really arbitrary on their part so yea.
However others will disagree with me, id prefer to flat here, which allows the (aggressive 3betting reg)* to continue with worse postflop to which we could gain 2 or 3 streets of value as opposed to getting it AIPF where our equity is marginal against a perceived 5bet range unless we have specific notes on villain to cold 5bet.
* denotes im assuming hes a regular given your hand sample

Maybe I can flat the 5bet but I'm not folding, I'm +EV sticking in the money vs QQ+,AK. He may even have worse because I could be bluffing and the whale is going to call a lot.
We need exo to stop posting suggestions on how to "fix" things. If Stars needed a strategy on how to exit the market in a day and bankrupt itself in the process. They should hire Exo.
Started off well then just randomly spewed a stack for no reason. I got my s**t together and played good up till the end of the session so I stopped before I ran myself into the ground.
The vertical climb on my graph is were I challenged a fish to HU...Jokes. Won a hand stacks in 145bb deep immediately followed by another hand 175bb deep. Pua Buzzin' n tht m8.
was simply stating an observation you made in another thread in somewhat of a similar situation. Whether the jam is good or bad really depends on how villain plays. That being said, imo jamming 240bb over a half pot bet will only lead to missed value from Kx, AA, 88-QQ against better thinking villians
Not posted a giraffe for a while, 7 out my last 8 sessions been winners so running ok
The blip in my nice orange line belongs to AJs UTG, im never sure if opening this UTG is a good idea. It always starts off looking nice and ends like a horror movie.
Turn: ($6.85) A (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks
River: ($6.85) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.90, UTG+1 raises to $7.10 all in, Hero calls $3.20
Spoiler:
Final Pot: $21.05
Hero shows A J (a full house, Jacks full of Aces)
UTG+1 shows A A (a full house, Aces full of Jacks)
UTG+1 wins $20.10
(Rake: $0.95)
When he raises the river I know what he has, but im paying to see it. You are gonna say I should have raised the villains flop bet.
I am going to say; what turn cards do I really have to fear on the flop and if I raise big he is folding most of his hands and I get no more value from the hand. But then again this is maybe why Im playing 10nl
