Not sure about my call.
I 3-bet with QTo and get a call and conti on a T high board.
Turn is a A and he overbetshoves, looked bluffy to me, i called, what do you think.

No point calling here IMO, you block some QJ combos, there are no flush draws, and you have significantly better hands to call with in this spot.

What is your 3betting range vs. button? What hands do you c-bet on the flop? You don't need to be defending against a 2x shove here much and you for sure have better hands to do it with.

It just looked spewy from my point of view and i beat him, but perhaps it was just luck, that he has 88.

3b can be fine, although vs. fish I'm probably jus folding here vs. his 77bb stack and playing more playable hands.

He's a fish without a full stack so I don't like 3-betting him in particular with such a marginal hand. We don't get many folds as he'll still call really wide with all the broadways that dominate us.

3betting this particular hand is pretty meh against most playertypes imo.

It's like an old farmer, swinging his hoe without really doing any of it.

I thought I posted this. Must not have.

Against an unknown, I much rather flat preflop than 3bet. QTo is too strong to bluff with, but too weak to value 3bet. He can have Q8 in his open range, but fold that to a 3bet and call only with QJ+. So I'd probably just flat.

As played, fold turn. His A hi floats get there, and we have to believe that if he didn't float with A hi then he still has a better hand than us.

As others pointed out, not a good spot for 3bet. It's fine to 3bet as a bluff vs players who fold to 3bets a lot = when you have reads but you have 0 hands on him.

I prefer flatting there unless BB is a reg that can squeeze light.
