I'm not sure if betting the turn here was correct but villains raise is quite fishy imo, not much info on him 25/7/0 across 57 hands. Do you bet turn here? Do you call c/r?

- Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 26.68 BB
UTG+1: 40.94 BB
MP: 124.12 BB
MP+1: 91.16 BB
CO: 41.94 BB
BTN: 156.58 BB
Hero (SB): 123.94 BB
BB: 101.6 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J 5

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 9 5 4
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: (6 BB, 2 players) 4
Hero bets 2 BB, BB raises to 6 BB, ???

I wouldn't play it like that, but probably isn't the worst thing in the world.

Hmm

fold pre without extra info/reads (high fts or high fold to cbet for example)
cbet (protection/value, you have a backdoor FD)
turn AP dunno, seems close, so I would fold, especially if he doesn't seem very aggressive.

I'm snap calling. He has so much air in his range, which he might actually bluff raise with vs this sizing

I'd also bet flop, hands like this benefit a lot more from equity denial when ranges are wide
