Hi all,
Ran into a spot where I had a lot of options at the

Yatahay Network - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

Hero (SB): 232.5 BB
BB: 114 BB
UTG: 113 BB
CO: 120.5 BB
VIL BTN: 100 BB (VP 16/ PR 13/ 3B8)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Th Td
fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB,

BTN is a tight reasonable player. Isnt exactly a nit but seems to play straightforward poker. Willing to pile money in if they hit something decent(2 pair plus) I havent seen them show down premiums so Im not sure if they have trouble folding those.

Hero calls 2.5 BB, fold

Flop : (7 BB, 2 players) 7c 6h 9h
Hero checks, BTN bets 3.5 BB,

We have an over pair, a gutter, and a BD flush draw. Is a raise appropriate here? This flop is very wet so Im not sure if raises would get a fold from any overcards. I suppose we want calls from those. If we get re-popped by a tight opp is it just always sets/two pairs? I have 240 hands with Vil and he seems to play mostly straightforward

Hero calls 3.5 BB

Turn : (14 BB, 2 players) Ts
Hero checks, BTN bets 6.5 BB, Hero raises to 20 BB

T brings in any 8 villain had. I check expecting any c-bets to slow down. When vil continues for half pot I see them on overpairs, Overcards that are hearts, A9, and occasionally an 8. I figure we raise here and just snap fold to a Jam.

Should Preflop be an auto 3bet?
Any comments on though process/decisions on flop and turn?

Thank you

Running it through Equilab we have the hand locked down on turn to anything except an 8. Is raise still appropriate to be the cheapest way to find out if Vil has straight or am I missing a street of value?

3B preflop. Find some good preflop ranges and work on your preflop game.

End of review.
