Hero checks, MP checks

Turn: ($1.15) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.55, MP raises to $1.50 Hero ???

So this was kinda weird. I decided to check flop with the intention of calling and folding most turns. I didnt really wanna cbet here oop but since we are blocking hearts maybe that wouldve been the best line?
Once he checks back i figure i have the best hand quite often here unless he has QQ or KK or weaker suited As so i decide to bet. He then raises me ergrthgrthrthtrht?
The more i thinkabout it the more i think we should call here because this is an amazing bluff spot because what can we really call a raise that we didnt cbet this flop? Also what can villain have here that he didnt bet the flop and suddenly raises turn? He couldve checked a fd i guess...really odd

Anyway what do you guys think, whats the line you would take here?

you do not want to 3bet JJ oop being 300 BB deep, at least not without having some good reads on villain, and even then...it is a nightmare
being 300 BB deep - position is way too powerful, and your hand is not exactly strong.
as played please do not call the turn raise.
btw. he could check any Ace on that flop because your check mostly looks like you have JJ-KK or AA. So he could easily check behind AQ, AJ for pot control

So if he thinks i have unders why would he raise? Is that how you are getting value ip vs a dominated opponent who bets into you?

I don't know why he would raise. Maybe he has Ax without any Heart and wants to protect / get value from JJ-KK with heart. Maybe he has AxKh and wants to get some value now before the river bricks for (whatever hand you may have)
maybe he decided to start bluffing on you. your range is kind of capped, you are super deep, you are oop... there is not really much you can do about it.

Terribly played AA by villain? Confused by his play.
