So, you wouldn't want to play awful 40bb fish just because you can only reload to 50bb if you double him?

Stars could even provide an incentive for action to take place on them (for example, double FPPs for all hands played on that table).

It would A) provide regs a place where they can do battle, B) be a sort of compromise between KOTH and the current system (only 5 tables or so are at the top, there's no room for abuse because if you don't play you get booted).
nothing in the current system is stopping all you crying morons from playing each other. i am so sick of hearing you hypocrites whine 'koth' or 'fight for A tables' to generate more action. it is 100% code for you wanting to get more fish for yourself because you believe you will get the tables that will get the most fish. again, nothing is stopping you guys from playing each other except yourselves.

current system stars has made is the most equitable and fair system that gives no one preferential treatment. all that being said, death to 20-50bb tables.

For my 7,000 posts I'm honoring Freaknik which is coming here to Atlanta starting tomorrow.

It's basically 300,000 black people congesting traffic, lewd public behavior, open urination, noise, and trash due to street parties.

Maybe they'll riot and break into a bunch of stores like last time.

Man, dude. I couldn't care less about playing fish. There aren't enough of them in the sea anymore to make it worth my while sitting at tables for 8 hours a day. I need to play other regulars in order to play 30-40k hands a month of HU poker. If I were to sit at a table and the guy leaves, great. I'll keep "his" table, wait for a challenger, and continuing sitting with people till I GET ACTION.

I don't know why I take the time to respond to you; I've lurked here and posted infrequently and have never read a post by you and been moved to think about anything in a different way.

The points you make are riddled with propaganda and your preconceived notion of bumhunters and the anti-bumhunter.

Personally, I think you should STFU about what you do not know, or simply play me until you cannot play anymore and then see why I actually want to play people.

Now, I don't claim to be the best, but I work on my game more than a lot of other professionals I know, so STFU with your "code" bull****. You throwing out these vast generalizations is just dumb and ignorant.

Action creating action is good for games. PS/ FTP and the players would benefit immensely if the sites created an environment of competition. Instead, too many people are fighting over too few fish.

Unfortunately for people like myself, I am in the minority of this thought and have to deal my best with the system in which is created around me.

Yes, I could play more 6m. I find 6m incredibly boring though, so I don't do it. Instead I sit at regulars tables every day until I find someone that will play me. I deal with the results.

Good day, good luck.

Also, poker isn't supposed to be fair. It's a game. Skill, willingness to compete, should out weigh some hard to define/elusive concept of "fairness". If you play poker, you are supposed to compete. Poker sites should do their best to make sure games are fair and balanced, but also encourage action, and competition amongst their players. Obviously competition should and will vary amongst each individual. My point is, the current system makes it less likely for people to go outta the way to play other regs.

I want HU poker to continue on. I want regulars to play regulars. I want there to be more fish. But, reality is this: There are more regulars trying to get fish then there are fish available. So, if you really want to be playing poker for an extended amount of time, and continue to make decent money, we need to expand our games and the ability to *GASP* play other professionals, or "regs".

This is all about encouraging action. The current system is fair, everything is random! However, it's not balanced. It does not encourage action. I still do not understand how some other poker players do not get this.

Action generates action in one way or another. People "competing" for the top tables is a good thing. I've been around longer than most of you and I suppose why that's why I'm so passionate about this. Hopefully I'm not off putting, I just hope you that disagree with me will eventually change your minds and help get Stars/FTP to create this type of environment.

Good posts easycall. I definitely think if more regs played each other and there were more HU games running, fish would be more inclined to sit also.

blahblahblah, kinda ironic u rip insidepoker when all your posts are the same long winded repetitive posts his are, yeah you dont like the randomized tables because you feel like you deserve the best tables because you give more action then other ppl, we get it. Next time you could just leave out all the other bs and save everyone reading some time. You know come to think of it, out of all the "KOH" and "bumhunter" threads and posts I have read I am not sure i have once read a post from someone whos ideas or opinions on how HU nlhe cash Lobbies should work weren't exactly in line with what they perceive to be the most profitable situation for themselves. Kind of interesting really (but not really i suppose).

lol... This is a forum for discussion about poker; you're saying you'd rather it be an environment where everyone's a dick for no reason?

still waiting for an explanation/reasons behind your thinking in the last post of mine you bashed (without really saying anything useful to counter it)

0 hands deleted. Purging Complete.

In order to reclaim the space you will need to do a database vacuum either through the options menu or in PG Admin
