Hey fellow HU regs!

Myself and 2 friends are renting a house for the end of WSOP (last few events and main) from 30th June for 2 weeks or so. We have a couple of spare rooms if anyone is interested. The house has a private pool, internet, tv, pool table and is in a quiet area 5 mins drive from the strip.

We'll mostly be playing wsop events, cash games and some partying. All easy going guys. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM.

one way is you disconnect from internet then load the client, then reconnect.

Can you really expect to have a big enough edge playing someone(who would be playing 10/20) at a 20bb CAP game to cover rake??

Also is anyone having problems with HM2 again today? tried to go to the website but its down, 2nd time in a week, so ****ing tilting

Yeah I'm by far the best player in the world at that stake. If you guys don't see me on stars send me a msg on skype "Jaybeema" and we can set up a time to play.

PT > HEM confirmed here. Always found PT more easy to use with less problems.

another vote for pt4 here, having moved from hem.

though I've never tried hem2, the early reactions scared me away.

I feel like people underestimate timing in general and don't give enough credit how much fish put into timing. it basically seems like if you have a good hands and you think about what to bet you lose them in the process. it seems like a really good idea to always be betting fast. I can't count how many times I think I would have won more if I just bet faster.

Yes but you're forgetting that the time you take figuring out the optimum bet size results in you making less mistakes, so granted by betting quickly the fish will make more mistakes, but you will aswell.

i think the time all the way down and "bluff out of desperation" works vs a lot of fish, and some regs also.

99% of decisions can be made in 3 seconds

anything longer and people know what they are doing but are just delaying the inevitable

HEM crashes my computer and ruins my games at least 5 times a day. It seems to be a memory issue and until I can expand the memory I guess it will just keep on crashing. On top of that I am on a bad connection and that also seems to be a huge issue for HEM. Even though its super powerful and does some really cool stuff I could never recommend HEM just on the insane ongoing performance issues that really haven't abetted since the day I bought it.

HEM was a resource hog and would absolutely destory any computer without good hardware like an SSD, additional memory, etc....

HEM2 was even worse. i actually feel bad for the people at Hold Em Manager because I had to request a refund for HEM2 after just 1 month of nothing but headaches....

so in this order I'd rank HUDs:

1. PT4
2. PT3
3. HEM
4. HEM2

both offer very generous trial periods and both have excellent customer service....HEM is trying hard to fix all the problems with HEM2 but I think they realized its a flawed product.
still not sure how something can regress badly in a NEW version but they managed to pull it off.....however they fully refund no questions asked if you don't like their product so its probably worth trying both of them out for yourself just in case.

fwiw, some people swear by HEM2! but i can assure you they are using expensive, high-end computer setup and spent at least two hours tweaking around and adjusting HEM2/databases to get things to run smoothly.
