pasterbator my favorite shake (only on days i've worked out and eaten light)


one scoop about 100 calories
+

no calories + i use water to fill 75% up to top of ice
+

fill the rest of the 25% of the way to top of ice
+

prob about another 100 calories depending on size of banana
+

half a teaspoon prob another 50 calories

the thing is straight heavenly and tastes like the most unhealthy shake you have ever had when in total it's prob about 300 calories

That would probably be delicious.

My current post-workout shake is just one scoop of "extreme chocolate":




and 8oz of fat free milk.

Tastes just like chocolate milk and is ~200 calories.

Another exercise I really like is the rowing machine. 5 minutes of rowing gets my heart rate up so its great to start a workout. I might start doing some sprints tho. I need to change up my routine a bit.
No typo, I was just reeeeeally fat haha.

Doesn't have to be sprints of course, any really intense anaerobic exercise works fine. With sprints, for example, you'd sprint for 30s, walk for 1m, sprint for 30s, walk for 1m, repeat 5-10x, whatever your body can handle. It's super intense though, feeling like you're gonna throw up afterwards, or actually doing so, is pretty much going to happen for the first week or so. Not a way to start out a trip to the gym or anything.

never heard of insanity, saw it on CSN on Saturday, have heard about it 5x since from like 4 different sources.. so weird how that stuff happens

Insane. Nice job on the weight loss.

I'm gonna try those sprints tomorrow. My buddy tried to get me to do interval training with running which is basically exactly what you are saying. He's a runner and he was doing 4 min run, 1 walk, then 5-1, 6-1 etc for 35 min. I couldn't do anything near that and I got annoyed and stopped doing it.

30sec and 1 min seems like a great way to get myself into it. Thanks for the tip.

Optimum nutrition is the nuts for protein. Mixes really easy and doesn't taste like balls.

Are you guys jealous that I'm trying to bulk up, eating like 4k+ calories a day...

Actually it kinda sucks. It's hard eating so much healthy food, and I feel kinda fat so I wanna cut already. But I want to put on another 8-10 lbs before I do (I just started a couple months ago, skinny as ****).

heh my buddy who just moved out of my house was doing exactly that. He was eating gigantic meals and making those 1k calorie shakes and I would just watch while I eat my grilled chicken and vegetables every meal.

You skinny kids are so lucky

It's sound like you have the diet down pat. The best thing I found too strip fat is what other people said in this thread is high interval cardio training the cross trainer is good for this and I think it's good too mix your cardio up because you will get burn out doing the same thing!

Also very important too train (weights) your legs do squats doesn't have too be to heavy weight if you haven't trained them much just make sure go deep. Also lunges and deadlifts..

I've quit working out seriously multiple times just because of how much I have to eat to see any gains. It's pretty frustrating really, but I'm content with just working out occasionally nowadays so as to not be a complete twig.

yea legs are a regular part of my workout schedule. I'm def trying the interval training tomorrow

I have never done steroids before but I have thought about it but I have some mates that get on the gear and pump weights none of them play poker but was thinking the other day imagine someone on steroids on tilt! It would be pretty funny ROID RAGE TILT! Haha

same problem over here. it's so much effort getting that much food in every day, especially when you're on a really bad college sleep schedule.
