You'll have to do some legwork to find out where you're at a expenditure/consumption balance. Sounds like you're still expending more if you're eating 1700/day, and working out your routine.

Sounds like that's what you want though? You will still be adding lean body mass through the process. I was more under the impression you're trying to bulk up. But you're trying to trim down. Sounds like you're doing it right. Once you find the balance where you aren't gaining/losing weight on your routine/calorie consumption you can tweak it accordingly.

Who is soso9200? 7-tabling 25 50 HU on Full Tilt against different opponents and 3-betting 30 - 40%. Seems to be a very good hand reader.

I simply assumed he intended to mean he was trying to lose body fat %. By lose weight, I am assuming here, I doubt he means tip the scales less.

You will be doughboy forever if you do that.

You'll gain muscle like mad, but in a perfect world you should drop the weight first if you care about aesthetics at all. That said, the easiest way for young men to lose weight is to cut out calories from beverages and gain muscle.

p.s. I'm fat =\. 50/50 is failing miserably lol/

Wait what? First of all, vodka isn't really something you drink for taste, considering the people rate vodkas based off how smooth or tasteless they are... I mean I drink vodka rocks, but only really good vodkas and that's mainly because of how smooth and tasteless they are...

My metabolism dropped sharply when I was 22ish iirc, either that or I just ate a ****ing ton for a while as I used to be 170ish at 6 foot and I'm now 215ish at 24. Reckon I can be down to 180 by June or July with a bit of work but am finding it super hard to get motivated. This thread is a reminder of that lol

Yeah, I'm 27, working out probably the same as always and eating healthier yet am not dropping any pounds like i feel i should be. Pretty sure beer is to blame and slowing metabolism, time to step it up.

Also I order a ton of food from "health food" places NYC such as Pump, Energy Kitchen, Fuel etc. Is there a chance these meals are less healthy than advertised?

At the end of the day, you need metabolism and your looks when you're young so you can get that fine 18-20 year old ass, then you get one, no longer need the looks but instead gain money and when your marriage collapses, you then use the fact that you've money to get that fine 18-20 year old ass. Main problem of americans is they eat not healthy and walk only from car to office and home and toilet, that's pretty much all distance they make on average in their life. When I used to live in USA, I was weighting 185 pounds wit hhealthy life style, but american food. After i came back home now i weight 163 pounds, my height is 5.9'.
