Classical microstakes, 4bet 1/3 of effective stacks and then fold... I wonder if there is a single hand in their HJ opening rage which does not have the odds to call.

If it's +EV to 4-bet bluff here it very likely is -EV to call the shove with lots of hands he could be bluffing with or even raising for light value, despite the good odds. Typical microstakes regs don't defend their 3-bets with bluff shoves that often, when facing 4-bets. Thus, against many regs, it's often not that bad an idea to 4-bet fairly light, but be super tight when facing a 4-bet or a 5-bet yourself, because of population tendencies.
It starts to get different at NL50, where 4-bet bluffs (including cold ones) are much more common so you actually need a 5-bet bluff shove range to survive.
Realistically, if you had, say, AT or 22 or 56s or some such hand instead of KK here, would you had shoved after the big 4-bet? If not, why would the opponent call with 88 or AJ or something? I don't think the odds warrant a call, unless your shoving range included some air.
