You are not getting anything that beats you to fold here so what's the point?
You want to keep the high Ax type hands in and this folds them out, maybe we'll see some AQs type call every now and then, but doubt it's a very high %. You can even use this as a potential bluff catcher which should give out much higher ev vs. recs in the long run.
Vs. stuff like 66-TT I think even a checkraise gets more credit than an outright shove and is likelier to get a fold imo. Not that that is too likely to happen either, esp. vs. recs.
I guess it may be okay for balance every now, but with these pools where if it's a rec you may not even see him again and even if it's a reg they probably won't notice much of a difference, and you'd probably need thousand upon thousands of hands at the same table before worrying about that.
