After thinking about this play - Villain is a fish from his 3bet sizing so I don't like it. But vs a reg - is this okay?

I dont think overbets are a thing on this flop, are they? Unless the preflop action makes them a thing

This guy could literally have anything, wouldn’t be surprised to get called by AQ or A3s lol. This like makes our life so much easier but I don’t think it’s better than a range bet small.

The only 4 bet spots I know where we ob jam are like 58T with JJ QQ and **** like that.

Looks like jamming here is fine. Mostly preferred with QQ/JJ.

Similar to the SB3bet vs BTN JTxtt boards where we ship AJ/QQ.

youre giving him an easy out of jail card with all his Ax hands, wouldnt even be surprised if V pure folds AQ which is a disaster. if we bet small they are forced to defend and put money in behind. also i dont imagine many pairs get folded vs this line

I think you are right. My line is way better with JJ/QQ as an exploit and then I can just put some my AA/KK/AK etc in the bet small bucket.

Could be a thing, but I don't expect a fish to fold any over pair or any pair in general and you're not exactly denying equity so think it's a pretty big punt.

Pretty sure you can over bet some of the time with a GS + you have a BDFD. Not sure it should be done at micros though because they probably are gonna call more then they should but FWIW they're actually supposed to call with some OPs

Yeah, this.

You are not getting anything that beats you to fold here so what's the point?

You want to keep the high Ax type hands in and this folds them out, maybe we'll see some AQs type call every now and then, but doubt it's a very high %. You can even use this as a potential bluff catcher which should give out much higher ev vs. recs in the long run.

Vs. stuff like 66-TT I think even a checkraise gets more credit than an outright shove and is likelier to get a fold imo. Not that that is too likely to happen either, esp. vs. recs.

I guess it may be okay for balance every now, but with these pools where if it's a rec you may not even see him again and even if it's a reg they probably won't notice much of a difference, and you'd probably need thousand upon thousands of hands at the same table before worrying about that.

sure
if you jam KK-JJ and all your Ax (provided you don't have a ridiculous amount) , he won't have a +ev call with 99/TT
