Encountered this line a few times, but not enough to rely on anything. Staying tuned in hopes of seeing more data on this sizing line.

Can't imagine a set, straight or flush playing this way but I'd certainly expect them to have a ton of flushes.

Do we think they could be doing this as thin as AK/AQ with a diamond after you don't raise the small bet on turn? I'd think not after you called big bet OTF and the diamonds get there.

I'm tempted to call solely because SB seems likely to be a fish of some kind. Obviously having a diamond is strongly preferred here, so if you do call I'd imagine it's just under the assumption he's spewing. Was there anything in the previous 36 hands to indicate he was potentially spewey/tilty/etc?

Nothing really but I do overlap my tables which hurts me when it comes to keeping track of recent action, I need to get a new setup soon, anything you can recommend wrt to a Monitor?

In game I thought that really small turn sizing was kind of a test to see how strong I was but not sure if data backs that up.

Isn't that a pretty normal turn sizing for when a flush gets there?

I'd fold river. Our blockers aren't great and I expect most players to only bluff river like this with KQ/KJ/KT with a Kd and most of those hands are probably checking the flop or betting smaller.

I think that this is usually a high flush that tried to induce a bluff raise ott.

It's definitely possible the bolded is true but I didn't really perceive it this way. Also if you look at MDA on the bet small line OTT (even though ironically GTO uses bet small OTT over any other sizing in the aggregate) ranges are much weaker than theory.

There were two factors that made me think this guy was a fish.

1. His PF opening size is 3.5 instead of 3x. Small difference but it makes me think my opponent is either one of two things. Extremely studied (unlikely) or not very studied.

2. Flop sizing. Solvers never go this big OTF so that combined with PF has me thinking he is more likely a fish.

Have you studied this line in Hand2Note? I am trying to get data from my CFP but they only have up to B150 OTR and not the classic 3.5x pot jam

In my DB 3x+ pot jam here seems a bit underbluffed, but the sample isn't big enough to tell for sure, as it's a very rare line for people to take.

Turn sizing is normal but yea flop sizing is too big so something is off with villain.

Feel like we can't call unless we know villain is capable. Definitely seems like they need to be turning something into a bluff for us to be good often enough, unless they are just going crazy with a one diamond Broadway that decided ott they were going for it.

idk but I'm leaning toward calling since I don't expect many flushes, and there are a missed offsuit diamonds plus random spazzes. After the big flop bet, the turn bet looks like a cheap bluff attempt from someone who doesn't know what to do, plus a spaz river jam. Edit: Was writing this before results were posted.

Yeah those were my thoughts, results confirm this but don't mean much.

Yeah it just means that people will take this line with spazzes.
