Hey 2+2 first ever post, hoping to make myself somewhat accountable and learn from mistakes by posting here so any feedback is appreciated.

Hand was played at 5nl and villian is complete unknown. Was unsure of correct play when facing a larger river bet when 4 card straight hit.

Villain has like no 2x hands and very little 7x other than 77 and maybe A7s.

I concur. Villain could easily be betting a K putting you on weak kicker/ trying to set price for the river.

Unless I have a read, river is a fold for me. At 5NL focus more on good value bets, less on hero calling as alot of times villians will show up with some funky hands that you didn't even consider them having.
Could x back flop here, as played, larger ott and like I said, I don't mind folding the river here.

Also keep yourself topped up at 100bb.

yeah I think its definetly a strange line to take with just a king but possible. I thought a slowplayed set was possible as well. I've been trying to increase my win at showdown rate as its a bit of a leak for me. Cheers for the answers guys it is kind of a guessing game without a read for sure.
