Yeah that sweater is awful. I understood what you meant and bright probably was not the right word for me to use.

I think I used bright as in colorful, (purple, red) colors that stand out but nothing like a neon green or bright orange.

Thoughts on where to get a good peacoat? $100-200 range is the best for my budget.

Talking more like this for summer. Not necessarily bright colours, but just more colour as khaki/navy/grey is so boring. FTR i just googled summer chinos and this came up, not saying I particularly love the style (though I really do like what the guy on the right is wearing outside of the shoes)

Thanks fryke. FWIW I do like what the guy is wearing on the right as well.

I feel like this guy crushes summer wear, though his choice of footwear is often uninspiring: http://acutestyle.tumblr.com/

he only seems good at wearing ill-fitting clothes

I don't think there's anything "ill-fitting" about this:

I could deal without the espadrilles, but everything else seem congruous to me.

I just saw the first 2 parachute pants and poorly fitting blazers and closed the page

Just don't wear the latter ever.

Those shoes hurt me. Please never ever ever wear shoes like that. Ever.

theyre unlined so you might want to go half a size lower than normal just so that they are snugger on your foot if that makes sense.

lol at old man trainers. they're not for everyone but it's not like they're a pair of baggy cargo shorts

In regards to your question then, no, I would not wear them with those pants.

So I managed to lose both of my pairs of Wayfarers in the space of a couple of weeks. I really like the style, so am looking at getting another pair or two.

A couple questions: It seems like the consensus is that black wayfarers are better, but would a browny tortoiseshell not be better given most of the shoes that it would be matched with would be a brown tone?

The follow up question is, does this even matter? Is it worth having two pairs, one to match with brown shoes one to match with black?

Is there another brand that is similar in style that is highly recommended?

Cheers

I got those and I find them better than the standard black ones.
If you got the money to spend on this, then get the black ones as well.
07-28-2013 , 09:23 AM
Yeah I had both those and the black ones. May just buy both again. Frustrating that I managed to lose both.

How important is polarized? My TS were un polarized and black were polarized and tbh I didn't notice a huge difference. I find it easier to justify dropping 160 on two pairs than 240

Have no idea tbh.
