I'm on fire lately, too busy to post tr's for the next few days and need advice:

Meet 2 girls at bar, one 6 and one 7. Obv I like the 7 better, works out perfect when 6 has a bf and 7 likes same music as me. They come back to my place, we go up to my room playing YouTube etc and the hotter one asks for a pen to doodle. She inconspicuously writes her name, number, and a heart with arrow through it. I got the sense either girl was dtf but they were together and not wanting to slut it up in front of the other.

Logistics: she lives 20 mins away w parents, goes to uni here in my city. Do I ask her for drinks just us, invite her along w friends (2-3 guys, fun, sort of sloppy drunks tho), or just suggest we watch a movie? Text or call? She is 20 I think. I actually kind of like her personality, like I would date her if my read was correct. How long to wait before contacting her?

Girl I talked to at bar with her friend, we hit it off v well, again v similar music tastes and we wanna go to same music festival, we talked for like 15 and then I end the convo to find friends ask for her contact info but not her friends'. 15 minutes isn't super solid and a call would be hard. FB message? Contents of message?

You obviously ask her out for drinks (if that's possible given her age, if not something different), just the two of you. Call the day after tomorrow, if you met them today.

Facebook would be a gazillion times creepier than a phone call and as usual I prefer a phone call or a text (I kinda softened on that, though I still initiate with a call).

Despite going out a lot I've never been a regular at a place. I have multiple groups of non-overlapping friends with different preferences in venues. When I do go out, I don't interact with waitstaff much - I'm usually talking to my friends, and at places that are busy enough that interacting with the waitstaff is slowing them down.

Becoming a regular someplace would entail one or more of the following:
- going out more often mid week - note that I live in a city that doesn't allow happy hours and I'm very busy
- spending a LOT more money

Neither of these seem that appealing and I'm not sure I'd get much benefit from being a regular anywhere. Also, I already have a pretty nice apartment that I use for afterparties. Thoughts on all of this?

I'm not sure what feedback you are looking for? Your assessment is basically correct -- the way to become a regular is to go out often -- pre-GF I'd easily break 320 days a year and some years I'd say >350 days. You don't need to go out that often but yes it does take a certain level of frequency and expenditure.

Having a nice place for after parties is a big plus.

I did consider trying to get her to leave...I didn't go for it because we were in a very small kitchen and if anyone was not in conversation atm, they'd have heard us. My sense was that her friends might protect her as she was ****faced and nobody knew me, but in hindsight, two of them told me nobody would have given a **** and this is standard procedure for that girl so it'd have been open season. She was with her friend and my buddy completely failed to wingman he just stood there like a tard. So I basically did the whole thing myself for like 10 minutes and then the friend looked like she was gonna end it any minute so I had to get out of there. I get her name, a super ****ing common name, something like Ashley Johnson. I explain I'll never find her, she tells me it is obvious which one is her. The first one that comes up is blonde, but doesn't appear to be as smoking hot as this girl, it's probably not her. In the case that she actually was interested (it went as well as it has ever gone when I talked to one of these astoundingly hot girls) I think this is a pretty bad beat. More likely she knew this would happen and was letting me down easy.

also, lately I have been in pretty good rhythm at bars/clubs, I find myself now asking 'why they are out, what's the occasion' almost 100% of the time, not like a canned thing, it just always springs to mind, and it's a pretty solid way to go from a random opening piece to something that keeps you there. lots of birthday girls and **** and then you can have fun w that too.

Calling 3 times? Are you nuts? Just leave it at that. Calling twice within 3 hours is too much, calling 3 times within 24h is needy.

gcg, you shoulda texted her first, then called her to arrange a date, that way you know if she doesnt want to talk on the phone or if she is ignoring your calls. I would wait a few days then text her, if there is no response 2moro.

yeah so there are some complications with my phone service atm. as such, i can't receive calls and i explained this in my msg. i also can't text. also no caller id means that she cannot be sure it was me that called the first time when there was no message.

girl screens first call thinking it's some rando she doesn't wanna talk to. 2nd call comes in as unkown and i leave a msg. so for the call tomorrow she'll pick it up. that's the plan at least. but it's not looking good.

Spurious, I think that fb is not creepy and is probly optimal (compared to calling) when:

A) you mention that you'll find her on fb

B) you don't talk for long enough to build sufficient momentum for a non-awkward phone call

Tonight I met this girl, was honestly surprised to see she entered her number in my phone when I told her to just enter her name to find her on fb. As I left I said I'll call you or send you a message. Similar situation to the girl I talked to that wants to go to the same festival. I feel like fb is way better here cause calling would be weird but there is suffixient attraction to send out a msg.

......so the girls come back from the bathroom but everything is still kinda normal, not as weird as it could have been. I am pretty good friends with Katie, so even if there was a misunderstanding it's not like it would be as awkward as if it was a girl I just met or something. we have always been cool with eachother even with almost hooking up a few years prior. we are talking and eventually decide to go to this late night place called The Ugly Mug since where we are downtown is closing (~2 am ftl). Somewhere during this time Carly takes off to go meet up with some other friends at a different place, but tell her where we are going in case she wants to meet up later. Katie and I get the idea of changing shirts for w/e reason...so now I'm wearing a white blouse thing over my under shirt (made me look like a true GNFOS ill tell you that), and she is wearing a brown shirt with a big penguin on it.



Katie doesn't want to drive since she is easily the drunkest of us all, so we decide to go in matt's truck...all four of us...with seating for two. And this when my greatest idea ever (butnah) was hatched. Jenn and I ride in the back of his truck, with the topper down. I had about half a joint from what we smoked in the alley earier and we decided to finish it on our 4-5 mile drive out of downtown and up to this bar. the ride was NOT comfy having to cross over 3 sets of train tracks and several bumpy roads downtown that need fixing.

Not even joking I told her during this ride that her thinking I was into Katie was a misunderstanding, and that I really wish I knew her better and that I'd like to hang out with her more etc etc etc (which are all completely true things, im srsly not the type to scam a girl into bed or anything). before even doing any of this we were holding hands (stfu) and then were each using eachothers arm as a pillow lololol....just before we got to the next place we made out very briefly and finally we were there.

I have no idea wtf is going on. apparently she had used some piece of cloth to measure matt's member and then cut out enough to wrap around it and now wanted me to "try it on". i was like wtf OBV GET OUT OF HERE but they all insisted and just as she went to unzip my pants i remembered that i didnt have underwear on...fail. w/e. we lol'd and jenn took pics of me trying to put this cloth thing on. blah blah blah...we got to sleep eventually...
