FWIW I slept with a girl for the first time a few days ago, and about 5 minutes afterwards, while we were lying in her bed chatting, she told me almost verbatim "I'd never really consider dating you, I just want to sleep with you. I'm really only attracted to you cause you're kind of an *******"

The thing is I actually AM a really nice guy (e.g., about 3 weeks ago, this girl was wayyyy to drunk and barfing her brains out, and I stayed up 4 hours taking care of her), but girls (like guys, imo) need to feel a bit of that challenge/******* factor in order to be attracted.

to be honest this is the first time ive really pursued a girl like this in a while

last few girls ive been involved with have been tall, thin blonds. it's a nice change of pace.

All my friends call me crazy when I go gaga over another 5'5 brunette that I feel like I could toss pretty easily.

As to the wingman comment you should wingman with a guy that has different taste in girls than you so that you avoid conflict.

although my last serious gf was only like a 1/19th inch shorter than me

Same here. I'm 5'9 and have only hooked up with one girl that was not between 5'4-5'7.

Despite being 6'4" myself, I find something less attractive about girls who are overly tall (like more than 5'10"). Just looks unnatural. It's not a dealbreaker or anything, but it takes points off.

No idea if guys around my height feel similarly. If so, that's a pretty huge beat for tall girls since lots of girls have an aversion to guys shorter than them.

I do have a lesser aversion also to girls who are TOO short...they're not less attractive to me at all, but it's just more problematic as a practical matter.

5'4"-5'10" is perfect for me. But I've never truly counted a girl out due to height.

I'm like 6' 2 or so and anything up to 5' 10 or even 5' 11 is alright to me. 5'8 is probably ideal for me though.

But i've liked girls as small as like 5'1 before but that was quite difficult
