So the other day I was hitting on a girl in class and trying to decide if that is considered daygaming or not. I didn't specifically go out of my way or anything, so I don't think it counts, however, I have no idea what the definition of daygaming is.

And i fail again. First time i asked her if she ever been to X bar planning to invite her to go there, but before i say anything else she says she doesn't drink. This time i did my homework and she wrote on her facebook page she likes action movies, then i ask her if she has seen X movie (action movie) planning to ask her to go with me, then she drops the bomb "i don't really like that kind of movie". Seriously, why write you like action movies then?! I just can't go and say hey wanna go out this weekend or something i am too shy to do that, plus that way it doesn't sound casual and i can't just rub it off if she refuses, it will be too awkward. I know she isn't just avoiding me she starts small talk every time class ends, plus one day i forgot my rain coat in the room and had to go back when we were already on the first floor on the way to the parking lot doing small talk as usual (room is on second floor) and she just waited there for me to get back, who does that to a guy you see 2x a week if you are not interested. **** i hate this, i don't know how to approach this, so much easier to go to a bar and get a drunk chick you don't even have to try. /rant

There's really not much to TR about-- I just went out and did a TON of failing that night. Maybe I'll write it up tomorrow but it's not a great TR I just failed a bunch.

Facebook has worked for me before. I met this very attractive girl my buddy brought to my St. Patrick's day parade party but never got around to getting her number. About a month later I bump into her at a coffee shop and just say hi. Then we both comment on our mutual friend's wall post. After that she friends me and I send a friendly/semi-flirty message message. We message back and forth a couple times and eventually go out on a date. This turned into poundtown for like 2 months until I left the country for the summer.

I don't think it would have worked had I aggressively tried to run facebook game. Does anyone else have success stories?

16 year old me thought asking a girl's number was a bit too forward at first, so in hs I asked a couple girl out via facebook (private message ftw). It worked technically, but I was already doing really well in both instances by the time I concocted that genius plan.

Overall, it can be a decent idea. But it's like texting-- it's a supplement to your overall rapport/interaction, not a replacement.

I'm going to see FG tonight...I'm like 5% worried that she feels guilty about cheating and freaked out afterwards. She was a little distant last time I saw her, but was also sick (no way she was faking). We'll see how it goes tonight.
