any ideas how to meet chicks away from bars? I would have played tennis this summer but my shins get destroyed playing tennis so I cant do it. NZ has bugger all mixed sport other then touch ( I hate touch). Of course theres the crapper mixed indoor sports but you dont actually get to meet chicks u just play against them.

Nope the single greatest useage of facebook is to keep in touch with your overseas friends. I agree with the rest of what you said. I hate facebook but it is good for larger party invites and to get a wider picture of someone you have just become friends on there.

I actually agree with spurcious, 2-3 girls that were on my contiki bus have had drama like this on fb. I have deleted them now. They werent my cup of tea on tour but one was pretty hot so I accepted her. But yeah its really pathetic people that do this.

since i know you were all eagerly awaiting it, i have an UPDATE:

so i went to the bar tonight, and she was there. i was talking to my friends about how cute she looked when this girl and her friend came up to my friend. girl 1 started flirting hardcore with my friend, so naturally me and girl 2 started talking. cute redhead with blue eyes...funny because during our pregame the same friend and i both mentioned how much we had been loving readheads recently (faye reagan?).

anyway, we talk the whole night and im not totally on my game and she gives mixed signs. one guy tries to hit on her and she's obviously not feeling it, so like a boss i interrupt and save the day. he, like the classy guy that he is, tells me that i should get my nose straightened out and tells her very skinny friend "good luck with jenny craig". i had reconstructive shoulder surgery last month and def couldnt get in a fight, but we all got in his face and told him he was a real pathetic mother****er and to take your sad ass home. my friends then followed him outside and tried to fight him, but he ran away, despite being 6'3 or so.

anyway, im outside the bar with the redhead and she's like let's go it's late. we walk by my place and i invite her up, she says no i cant, then i offer to walk her home, she says sure. i make the move and she says she cant because she is about to breakup with her boyfriend but hasnt totally done it yet so she can't. blah. she then texts me "sorry again about the awkward info drop at the end there. i'm glad i met you, hope to talk to you again sometime soon "

soooo all in all a +ev night. from time to time, i eyed the girl i came to see and she was either with her girlfriends or talking to some guy she wasnt in to. i wanted so badly to interrupt, but i was preoccupied.

Anyways, an important detail you left out was how long your friend was with Girl 1 over the course of the night. You claim to have been preoccupied (and you did have an obligation to keep G2 preoccupied as long as your bro/G1 were talking, obv) but if they split up eventually, then ****ing forget the random and be like, 'hey it was nice meeting you', go for the number and then make your way over to her.

After expressing so much interest and having an opportunity why pass on at least saying hi even if after that you return to making redhead primary goal for the night.

Because I like the redhead and she wants the d. She isn't gorgeous like the first one but she's real cool and still pretty hot.

Maybe I should have but I definitely improved with the red head as the night went on. If I had left her midway through the conversation I think she would have just gone home and not been as likely to want to see me again

Nah mang I could def see myself dating the redhead and i object to the word clinging because she definitely wanted me around. And like I said had I left earlier, before I was a little drunker and funnier and better to talk to, then she woulda gone home and not wanted to see me again I think.
