nice finish!!!!!

Finished 2nd in the main and shipped the casino champion. Tahoe is always such a great stop. So many awesome people and friends. Cash games were pretty weak this year, and I don't think I ever saw bigger than 1-2 PLO. Maybe they shouldn't have moved the date up.

I got their Tuesday and every night (with the exception of Friday night) they had a juicy 5/10nl game going. It started around 7pm and lasted till around 1am, but while it was going it was pretty awesome and nice action... Other thing worth noting is that we the players had to do a fair amount of leg work to initiate the game every night. Would start out 5 or 6 handed then took an hour to fill up...

the 3/5nl game was so-so. Lots of money on the table but the table was fairly nitty when I played.

I played two sessions of cash games while there, nothing special. In fact it seemed like the locals all had marks on us outsiders there for the tourney and couldn't wait to get our money....but it didn't work out that way! LOL Their nitty style and cute ck-call or ck-raise action didn't work out too well for them. I'd see them all huddled together outside the rail and could hear enough words to make out the jest of the conversation(s), and then I'd keep an eye on who was paling around w/ who, and who's calling each other by name and knows the local dealers, ect. As most poker players I cut my teeth playing live low stakes, these "locals / regs" that were there to clean up all of the outside money didn't impress me...but they did add to my pocket book in two different cash game sessions
