But if you get hijacked, I'm sure they'll take care of you.
This works for Lyft as well, they changed my fare from $15 to $6, and gave me another $5 credit. I asked to go back to the gold coast and the guy drove downtown! I think he confused it with golden nugget.

You can complain to Uber if you feel you got longhauled and they'll adjust your fare to the price of the more optimal route.
Lyft did this for me as well. Came in late Sunday night, and I gave the guy 3 stars and left a comment that he took me (to Harrah's) via tunnel, and yesterday I got a message that I'd been rebated some of the fare and given a $5 credit.

There's also a shuttle from Gold Coast to Orleans, which has a Nawlins themed place, a Japanese place, Fuddruckers, and Sbarro.
Solid info. Was thinking about Gold Coast. Thanks again.

There seems to be no buzz about the 888 today/sat. Is this going to be a complete dud? I'm firing 1 bullet but that's all.

Can anyone report on the temperature of Rio poker areas? Is it as cold as it's been in the past?

Thanks.

Cold, but not as cold imo. Pavilion seems to be the coldest this year, as opposed to the Amazon in the past.

I've found the Amazon to be cooler, overall, lol. Maybe it just depends on when you happen to be playing and the number of warm bodies in each room.

For those who have registered with a CC.... I did so for the first time for a tourny coming up and still havent received the "final confirmation" email from the WSOP

How long did it take for you to receive that?

I also got long hauled/angle shot by a Lyft driver named Nathan from airport to downtown. He met me at Terminal 3 in designated area, but before actually picking me up had hit the "button" that said your Lyft driver is here. I didn't see him and then he called asking where I was, I told him in designated area and he was like OK, I'm on my way, just wanted to make sure.

When he arrived like 3 or 4 minutes later I asked him when the "fare" started, in other words, did it start when he indicated he was there. He was like it's only a few cents and he'll give me a dollar at end of ride. WTF? Anyway, he then asks highway or local roads. So I say what does Waze or your map on phone say and he responded he didn't use Waze. So I say quickest and he proceeds to tunnel me, even though Paradise to LV Blvd. is generally quickest way downtown. We proceed to hit traffic on I-15 and he gives me some bull$hit about EDC which had ended two days before.

As we arrive at destination he starts telling me all his hardships, then says he'll contact Lyft on my behalf. I said I can take care of contacting Lyft on my own. He also had a tip jar which he had crammed a few bill into prominently displayed between two front seats.

Anyway, fare was like $20 to downtown but fare estimator had put it at $11 to $13. I emailed Lyft support and they refunded me $7.50. Also, I gave the driver one star, which I found out, that Lyft will not match you with same driver if you give anything below 3 stars.

Brasilia, especially the far corner of Silver around table 23 is actually quite warm. The left side of Amazon Orange is a friggin meat locker. They actually changed the breaking order of a tournament (maybe several) so the left two rows were closed first due to complaints. I haven't noticed any other major problem areas though in general it's standard casino cold.

As always, dress lightly and bring extra layers.

That it is. I did it for Colossus this year, but with better organization even that proved unnecessary.

I played the 2:00 deep stacks and guys who busted the first flight of the $888 were jumping in. They were all complaining about the structure. Antes kicked in at the third level. One guy said next year he'll play the mega instead.

When you're standing in an hour-long, or even longer, line to reg or re-enter a Deepstack, while it's already running, that 3% (8 bucks) for a near-instant registration looks like a damn bargain.

First time with a car in Vegas. Where's the best place to park at the rio for wsop?

Follow the signs to the rear of the Rio to the WSOP Valet. There is also self-parking back there, or you can park in the Masquerade garage.

When there's an hour long line for a Deepstack, reg at the main cage. It'll save loads of time.

I was talking about the main cage. It was probably 2 hours at the other cage.

Are the registration cages open 24/7 ? If so can you register for a Mega Satellite the day before?

I'm heading there on Wednesday night....do I need a RIO players card to register for WSOP Main Event satellites? Also, which of those satellites do you think are softest? I am probably going to play the Thursday 8pm $575.

Also, I'm staying at Bally's. To avoid getting longhauled, do I tell the cab driver "please avoid the tunnel, take Swenson instead" ?

thanks in advance.

You need a Total Rewards card, which covers all Caesars Entertainment properties, including Rio and the WSOP.
