I went up for the 450 today and was out by 3:30 Played one hand really terribly and I couldn't recover once the blinds went up...

Thankfully Choctaw let me get out of my room for tonight (kept it tomorrow) so I came home for the night.... good opportunity for some marriage equity...

Not that anyone cares, but I remembered when I was sitting there that I had played an NLHE in my first series ever at Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, like a day before the HORSE tourney they had - I think it was their first series.

(I got 9th. 7th got $32 and the rest got $415. BLNT.)

The Bravo app says there is a 5/10 Limit mix game going on.

(1) What are the games in the mix? and
(2) What are the chances of it going again tomorrow? I will definitely drive up for that.

2 tables of Stud 8, O8, Razz and 27TD. It's mostly dealers, I think it's been running most nights.

It seems to be a different variety in the mixed game every night.

Odd... this is the first time I've seen it on Bravo. Maybe I'll chance the drive tonight if it seems to be a regular thing.

Whenever Choctaw has a series, the series dealers get a mixed game going when they are done for the day.

Yeah, I went off in in it last night for a rather large amount. It was two tables of TORE, 5/10. Has also sometimes been going as 4/8 and ORE. Badugi is not an option for legal reasons.

I will probably head up tonight. Gotta get back on the horse and undig the hole. It's a good game.

We'll be there Thursday for the sattelites, hope to make our way up to the mixed game after getting main event seats.

Planned on comming up for the main but cant find a room for sat night.

If anyone happens to have a room for sat night and ends up not needing it for any reason (long shot I know) please send me a pm, it would be greatly appreciated. Would just stay in Sherman but will have the wife with me.

Well, me and two others chopped the $200k event 41.
It was about to go to 50,000/100,000 and I think 20k ante, so there wasn't any poker left to play.
The structure for the event was terrible at the final table. We all agreed that it felt as though we were being punished for making the final table. We ended day one at level 21. 8,000/16,000, and came back to 20k/40k, then skipped to 30k/60k, then jumped to 40k/80k. When you realize that a million chips is about to be 10bb, it called for no play. I had a little over 1.2 and they had a little over 2 mil. On top of that, we stayed at 40 min levels. That is crazy for the second largest event if the tourney.
The structure is better for the Main Event. I will play in it, but if the structure is the same next year, I won't be back. Most of the guys I talked to agreed. I only played event 41, and I usually play most of the events when I go.
