How do the Choctaw Inn and Lodge resorts compare to eachother? Are they close to the main property? I can't find a room in the main hotel...

Inn is part of the casino lodge was walking distance but they took out part of the parking lot

I made it to 1 hand into level 9. Went on dinner break with only 5,300 in chips or so and blinds going into 300/1000/2000. So yeah...first hand was 55 and I shipped knowing the giant stack at table would call with any two. He had A9 and hit a 9 on river. It was a blast and I only had to do the one entry. Thanks for another fun tournament, Jimmy! I tried to introduce myself but you were gone by the time I got away from table to find you.

Headed back with the friend that drove and we had no issues at that time of night when we got to McKinney. It was like the construction had never happened.

How many players did they have for event 7, 100k guaranteed?

I never heard an exact player count but I did see 2269 as the number of entrants when i last looked at the screen which I think was all re-entries for both days included in that count.

Will they be running any satty's for the main on Saturday night 7/26? or Sunday Morning? I will be playing in the 200k event that night.

My plans may be changing...I actually have two reservations at the moment, one that was for Friday night through Monday morning at the Inn and the other for the same dates in the Tower. Partner and I are contemplating going elsewhere for an 'us' weekend...hey, sometimes homelife is more important than poker, what can I say...

I never got any response when I posted about the one in the Inn but just haven't gotten around to calling to cancel (their online cancellation function wasn't cooperating).

I think it was $119 for Friday and Saturday in the Tower and $99 on Sunday.

Not sure how quickly the rooms appear on the reservations site once I cancel. I had tried to hold off on cancelling though until I knew if someone wanted them so that they could go to tournament attendees...

When I looked at the numbers from last year, there were just under 130 and they paid 15 places IIRC. Should be a one-day event...

heads up that the King bed in the Tower is available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night...act quick since the reservations person I cancelled through made the comment of 'you are going to make someone very happy.'
