Goodreads has a really cool phone app that helps you keep track of what you've read and when and how much you liked it. Maybe there's something like this for movies?

Definitely... I've heard people say they actually loved BvS, so...

I'm not really hype for any November movie except Orient Express, I guess.

Wouldn't see it if they gave out $100 at the door.

Seems like they’ve basically shown the whole movie in the trailers, and it looks like headache inducing garbage.

I'm pretty much done with superhero movies.

Justice League looks really, really bad.

Extremely excited to see The Killing of a Scared Deer this weekend!

Yeh I’m getting there. Dr Strange and it’s 95% on RT made me think maybe this genre just isn’t for me. Logan was objectively good and I still felt just meh about it. Getting pretty difficult to show us something we haven’t seen before.

The preview for Orient Express has me excited also.

You guys have to understand that I'm a Batman freak. I want to love Justice League because I want it to be good so bad.

I expect it to be terrible. It looks bad.

It's only my #1 film of November because it's a rather weak month and it has Batman.

Yeah JL looks really bad and I'm generally a fan of comic book movies. Even the trailers just don't work. Based on the amount of focus and music choice of the scenes, they clearly think that Jason Momoa leaping into battle from a speeding batmobile it being hurled into battle by cyborg warrants excitement, but holy **** that stuff looks so lame. Even my coworker that loved BvS thinks this looks awful.

I don't get how DC manages to make excellent superhero TV shows like The Flash and Supergirl but just totally bombs at superhero movies, aside from the Nolan movies and maybe Wonder Woman.

By contrast, the Thor/Hulk movie looks like a blast.

I don’t know why everyone is confused. It’s because Zach Snyder is in charge of all the movies

This. He is the worst writer/director working in Hollywood.

Oh come now, what about Sucker Punch...

i hope that's sarcasm. That movie was porn without the sex.

Speaking of horrendous "Soft Core" porn... watching it is like masturbating with sandpaper.

Anybody who reads my posts knows that I'll watch and enjoy just about anything, but I just don't think I can fade another superhero movie.

Well maybe if they make all the superheroes hot chicks, but I'm not holding my breath.

JL has had the sort of troubled production history that usually ends in disaster. There’s some hope given that Joss Whedon took over, but extensive reshoots are never a good sign.

I'd see it for $100 but I wouldn't see it for free with free food included.

The 95% thing is what kills me. It's so lol at this point for people to be excited about RT ratings.

Even now though, that Dr. Strange rating (haven't seen) and some of the Thor 3 talk has got me to thinking maybe I'll see them. I've already been fooled 2-4 times, so shame on me.

Film Crit Hulk has been tweeting exuberantly about Thor 3, but if you read through the lines he even admits it's bloated.

Dr Strange was great, one of the few superhero films in recent times that i thought was considerably better than meh.

Its always interesting hearing people talk about superhero fatigue and the superhero bubble, and when will it burst. When the reality is that there is what, 10 superhero films a year? if that? and that is including non blockbusters like Chronicle or Super

Not sure it will ever burst at that rate of production
11-03-2017 , 05:26 PM
Was van helsing a superhero?

Thor: Ragnarock

Okay, I'm done with these super hero movies. So silly and boring. No more for me.

Glad to see you join us. There are no good superhero movies. Only way they stop making them is we stop rewarding them.
