You know what mathematicians do when constipated, don't you?
05-06-2020 , 05:09 PM
He worked it out with a pencil. You could also use 'a piece of chalk'

For John:

I'm not constipated, Zeno.
05-06-2020 , 05:31 PM
chalk as we see it nowadays is made of calcium sulfate(gypsum) instead of calcium carbonate.

although both i think would make you more constipated.

I typically wear jeans, a t-shirt, and a sports jacket when I teach during the warmer months and swap the t-shirt for a turtleneck when the weather turns cold.

But I'm thinking of buying a really outrageous sports jacket for online teaching. Any suggestions?

no proof john. just like 90% of those in prison have been wrongly convicted according to them.

its like wearing a red shirt in class and expecting the teacher not to call on you.

and i make no bones about that.

Oh, I just like looking at them, I wouldn't want to actually, you know, talk to a girl that young.

Friday is cheat day! It is the one day each week when I eat and drink with reckless abandon and I just finished a bountiful feast. Went to the meat market this week and picked up a nice choice ribeye. Very spensive! I haven't had a steak in ages. I only eat them in steak houses or when in grilling weather and since all the steak houses have been closed since about forever and the weather here has sucked it has been a while. The steak was magnificent with tater tots on the side all washed down with a couple of Miller High Lifes. That is livin my friends that is livin. Screw this virus! I am contemplating just how many more beers I want to drink tonight?
05-08-2020 , 07:10 PM
worse,, mr. baseball must be 90 plus years old as he is drinking miller high life. poor guy.

i bet he is still missing seeing honus wagner play.

Not drunk posting (YET!). But I am and always have been a cheapo domestic beer guy. I can't stand craft brews or IPAs. I grew up on Pabst and Schlitz and Old Style and that is what I still prefer. Beer snobs can suck it.
05-08-2020 , 09:27 PM
I no longer prefer beer. But I grew up on Schlitz and 'Gansett.

I never drunk post or text. I have some control.

But if I were able to eat a steak right now and swill down a couple beers, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

This thread's foreshadowing title is becoming more apparent and ironic, all at the same time, on a daily basis.

It's a shame when you get free gubmint money and have no casino's to blow it at. You should probably throw a bunch of Korean baseball darts and double up or more

My big daft dog Samson managed to break a fence panel by jumping at it. I mentioned this to my brother, he has contacts who can get stuff like that cheap. I was out in the garden when I heard him whisper over the gate “ Hey Pat, get this out of sight quick” . I am now in possession of a “hot” fence panel. Ironically although I am in possession of stolen goods I am not a fence even though it is a fence.
