i got a pair of nike air jordan. in about 1980's something. red and black. wore them a bunch of times and threw them in the closest. still there.

looked them up. seems like air jordan 4's

only bought sneakers that cost 100 bucks or more back then. mostly new balance 100's.

I used to have a pair of purple Chuck Taylor All-Stars, canvas sneakers. I can’t remember if one of my former girlfriends stole them or if a dog ate them. Some mysteries can’t be solved.

going fishing. eating in. internet surfing. movies on netflix. swimming. maybe boating.
mostly during the week and staying in away from the idiots on the weekends.i try to do that in good times as well. works for me.

BBQing some burgers tonight and probably wash down with beer. Then watch some movies. Weather permitting plan to hike or bike the local forest preserve trails Sat and Sun and maybe do some springtime macro photography out there since spring seems to be springing out all over with lots of flowers and weeds blooming.

But it is very nice today! In fact I went to A brew pub that is partly open. I could eat on the outside patio, food came in take out container. But beer is given out as usual. Must maintain distance etc., So limited seating (nothing inside) but it is welcome that some normalcy is returning.

Tuesday: “ I am on an early shift tomorrow, so I just need to go home and get some sleep”
“ Uh OK”

Officially done with the Spring semester. Now I'm going to spend the next three months doing not a damn thing, except preparing for remote teaching in the Fall.

Remote? Has that been decided already? I don't think this shutdown, extreme distancing is gonna last that long. The natives are getting very restless.

I'm not whining--yet. Plenty of time for that later. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a high school kid during this time. Or the parent of a high school kid. At least one wouldn't have made it out alive.
