I've only had it for a year or so, so no maintenance. I hated the stock strap so I bought a bracelet for it, though an aftermarket strap would do as well. Since I have six watches, work mostly from home (so don't go out to do anything substantial most days during the week) and it is a more niche with the green, I only wear it about once a month.

What do you guys think about this watch? I want to get it

Cartier Rotonde
It's gorgeous. I think the Caliber movements are respected enough and it's frickin Cartier so it gets respect from anyone with taste. Speaking of which, it's a tasteful, non-vulgar watch.

It's nice but I think the movement is Eta in that one. IMO, it seems a bit dressy for work/your age. I would personally avoid watches that are too flashy especially if its your first job as you don't want to out watch the boss.

I think the 8500 based aqua terra posted above is a fantastic choice as is a speed master professional 3570.50. I also like Nomos and Grand Seiko in your price range. Your Rolex selection will be very limited new. I would consider the explorer I or explorer ii or no date submariner used.

I'm considering trading one of my watches:

Would be interested in IWC Portuguese but probably others as well. Anyone interested?

Better get those screws aligned if you want anyone to be interested in that here.

Need details like box/papers, still under warranty etc

Also just put a € amount you'd be looking for to give people a ballpark.

Have box, could get papers. Bought the watch 3 years ago. Don't really have a price in mind as I don't want to sell, just considering a change in my collection

In pictures the dial is a gorgeous sunburst blue but in some pics and vids it appears to be silver. Really wanna buy it but don't want to if it isn't blue.

Thanks!
I have this watch, and it is silver, but the sunburst reflects colors like crazy, especially blue. The tint is constantly shifting depending on the ambient light. I love it, it gets a lot of wear.

10% off at longislandwatch.com through Halloween with code LUCKY10. I got two of my watches there for good deals. Seiko Orange Monster for $180. Orient Bambino for $125. Orient Marshall (which I own, and got there) for $125. Just a few of the decent options I noticed.

Good choice on the no date/no Olaf dial imo. So much classier.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to find the kid's watch I had. I'm pretty sure it had a yellow dial, blue band, and red hands. I distinctly remember some kind of face.

Couldn't find it, and everyone had one as a kid.

Main features are the white, but complex face without being over the top, numbers not roman numerals, leather strap (whatever, I can replace a strap anyways), subdials of various kinds adding to complexity, most importantly a big watch face without a lot of metal case around it.

Please halp

What say you all about the new Michael Kors Jetmaster...

Bit of info here...

Pretty darn nice watch for sub $500

I hate watches disguised as chronographs that aren't actual chronographs especially if they have superfluous pushers. If you want a nice watch under 500 with a Chinese movement (which this has), get this instead

http://www.seagull19*******/7-seagull-38mm

Reliable column wheel chrono with actual military provenance.

And if the Seagull is not balla enough for you then save up for the Seiko Ananta that the Kors homages.

Well I was originally looking at the lum tec 300-m1 (I already have an m8) and then saw this one from Kors. I know the Kors is not a high quality item, but it does look nice. Still leaning towards the 300m-1 but is about double the cost...
