(English+Spanish)

I can close an eye on the boring lyrics if the rest is at least ok, Sadly, this is not the case. I really hate, the whiny, high-pitched voice of the singer, and the guitar is nothing more than the off-white coloured whitepaper to the torture chamber that is this song.

This song would not be out of place in a gym, with the instructor telling you to move your arms up and what not.

If I heard this song in a gym, I would definitely not visit it again.

If someone asked me to point out an example of empty calories, I would now considering sending them this song. It's literally too boring to be background music to a call centre waiting line.

Have always loathed this type of "super-girlish"* voice. Unfortunately, I could not find the translation of the Arabic lyrics (lyrics I cannot comprehend are NOT penalized) but that voice renders everything else meaningless.

*Although I definitely slightly predisposed against higher-pitched vocals, I can definitely enjoy the odd Elisa or Kate Bush song. To describe the vocals of this song as "high-pitched" would be inexact. The best comparison that comes to mind is "if someone told me a 10 yo girls was the singer, I would probably buy it".

Well, wouldn't ya believe it, I've heard this one before. Also, it's probably only a good listen in nightclubs or when you're drunk at 5AM. Can't say for certain, but these are the only circumstances when I can imagine this song sounding good.

Some pretty decent -bordering on good music that is ruined by the pretty terrible, horrible, no good, very bad vocals that are -mercifully- half-drowned by the music, but, unfortunately, not quite.

Well, this is unfortunate. With my taste in music, you'd suspect that I would not like Rammstein very much, if at all. I do, however, and I know this song.

To know this, you should have read my writeups for my last walrus, and I realize nobody ain't got time for that. So I am not going to penalize you too much.

As for the song, it's very good, even if the lyrics are a bit trite. It's also a pretty atypical Rammstein song.

It's a pity that the dude is the much better singer here, because I don't speak his language and google translate won't help me here (lyrics I cannot comprehend are NOT penalized).
I can't say the lady is outright terrible, but her voice is pretty forgettable.

Pretty good music.

Billy Joel? Singing in French? I had no idea, and I love several of his songs.

Unfortunately, the music is easily the worst of any Billy Joel song I've ever heard. It's not a trainwreck, but there are some pretty obviously dissonant moments that made me cringe a bit.

Other than that, it's a solid Billy Joel song. For some reason, I expected his French to be much worse than it actually worse (I was expecting some Debbie Harry-level **** in Call Me).

It's a shame the music takes the backbench every time the singing starts. As a result, I like the song much more in its instrumental parts. Not saying anything bad about the vocals, but they could have used a stronger musical helping hand.

In the instrumental parts, the music is ****ing glorious.

Also, I needed to look up the lyrics even for the English parts. Apparently I can't comprehend Irish accents for ****.

Extremely gentle vocals and very fitting music, although I wish they went a little easier on the drums. The part in English is factually almost insignificant, but since it takes up enough audiospace, I cannot penalize you for that.

Gadarene with Beautiful by Crush

Spoiler:
(English+Korean)

I am a huge sucker for this kind of slightly melancholy music, which is something Gad might have realized after my last walrus. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

To be perfectly honest, the music is a bit on the repetitive side, but just in this case, I don't care. The vocals are also fantastic.

The lyrics are trivial, but again, I don't care.
