Apparently I'm not allowed to win for a while. I used up my quota Feb-Aug, and now the game just takes a sh 1 t on me every day I play.

I really, really want to get 50 wins this year, especially because it looks like I'm gonna miss that 26k average over the year. I'm 3 wins away. At the start of September I was 6 away and it seemed a trivial task, now not so much!

The Crabshoot CCXXXIII semi-finals haven't registered correctly (pretty sure it was mine because there was something weird with the last tile). All games are complete but it doesn't advance to the final.

I was trying to create new puzzles out of game IDs I had saved earlier, and it doesn't find the games, instead saying:

I get that whenever I try the tournament page and often with advanced, too.

Yea, when trying to click the tourney tab, it says:



With the game IDs, seems like newer ones don't work either, when typing the ID. Clicking on a score works normally though.

Looks like I have some work to do (I saw the other mentioned issues too).

I'm back from vacation, so I'll check them out soon.

Seems like inactivity penalties have been applied now to Daily ratings. Are the ratings supposed to be correct now?

Timed penalty seems to be now 48 points instead of 50. 8.0 for min. sigma (I think this was 8.333 before) and 6x factor for a min. penalty of 48.

Ratings and wins should be correct.

Min sigma hasn't changed (just confirmed), so not sure where the 2 point discrepancy comes from.

My rating only 36 p behind Paul? I am used to like 50.

I don't think it's correct. I was at 86 wins before the rerun and should have 2 more now for my win on sunday and one that hadn't been counted but it says 85.

Are you absolutely certain about this? Because when the deviation/sigma changes were made, I made the post below, and I don't remember you mentioning anything about it being wrong at the time.

The min. penalties were definitely 50 before the latest updates. The most likely explanations for min. penalty going from 50 to 48 are that either sigma or penalty multiplier was changed. So either from 8.333*6.000 to 8.000*6.000 or 8.000*6.333 to 8.000*6.000.

Wrt DC wins, I need to check something when I get back home, but could it be possible that the previous win totals were wrong? Iirc there was some problems with re-running the ratings/wins previously.

I have been on a sharp downswing recently. Maybe I'm a couple of points lower than I should be, but it's roughly correct.

Also, massive fu to Kamacry, I will now never know my peak DC rating.

I think I figured out what the problem with Timed is. The min. sigma hasn't changed, it just appears to be, because they are for some reason rounded to whole numbers (Mu as well), and the penalty calculations use the rounded numbers instead of 8.333.

Never mind.

I thought I remembered having 43 wins before the latest update, now only 42. And indeed I did have 42 at halfway through the year (had taken a screenshot), and won one more in July, so that would be 43. A screenshot from the beginning of the year shows me at 35, and my spreadsheet for this year showed 7 more, which would've made 42 correct. However, I had forgotten to add the results of 6-17 altogether, and that was the 8th win making 43 correct based on this.

I may have similar data from the year before on older computer or external drive, those could help in trying to figure out whether the wins are wrong now, or was there a mistake earlier at some point. Also relevant is when the results were re-run the previous time, was it when the sigmas were changed, August 2012?
