Thoughts on this plan:

From the last report I got from cue, there was nothing at all in Totomi. So I propose sending a couple cavalry down there from Oki, and see if we can slip it out from under Tokugawa. If we succeed, pull two Cavalry from Willd and see if we can't do the same thing to Edo

If we succeed, we can split Tokugawa communications, and hopefully force them to react to us, instead of acting as they planned

Oh, Andy is here:

Send 2 Cavalry to attack Totomi from Oki, with no General

If that succeeds (I'm gone for a few hours)

Detach 2 Cavalry from Willd's army, and attack Edo

All remaining forces in Oki will be moved to Oshigo. FCBL, move to Oshigo, and take command of the army there

Move 4 Infantry from Dewa to Mushashi and give to Willd. Move 4 Infantry from Echigo and give to m1ke

I and Cueball are moving to Chikuzen

I will process the offensive moves in a little while, as I announced when I called Day, I will allow a little room after the preordered moves before resolving any further attacks so that both factions have some time to deliberate and adapt to the Night events and the resolution of preordered battle.

The rest of actions Im processing right now, you can consider them done, will post updated map asap.

Many thanks

Updated situation Daimyo

All characters and armies actually are where their arrows point to, the arrows are to represent movement and see at a glance what has moved already and what hasnt during the Day Phase.

*The exception is the 2 cavalry marching on Totomi, their action is pending to be resolved in a little while.

I had a brain wave while driving Mia home from skating:

If the attack on Totomi is successful, also attack Satsuma and Kaga, with 2 cavalry each, from Willd's army

Battle Report Day Phase, Pre-Intel-Release Actions

The 8th of September, a small contingent of Takeda all-cavalry units moved into Totomi from Musashi. Their advance was very quick and that same evening the mounted samurai had taken over the undefended Capital.

Totomi has fallen in Takeda hands. This unopposed conquest slightly boosts Takeda reputation and diminishes that of Tokugawa. (+1) (-1)

Battle Report Day Phase, Pre-Intel-Release Actions

Following Takeda Shingen’s orders, after finding no resistance in Totomi, more Cavalry leaks through Totomi towards the southern provinces of Japan.

Game Event: Totomi

Briefly after entering the province, your officers learn of rumours pointing to General Forsythio being hidden somewhere within Totomi province but the peoples of Totomi have a very favourable opinion of him and the Tokugawa faction and won't cooperate.

Naturally, your forces are striving to find him but the province is long and wide.

After some deliberation its most likely Forsythio has had to choose one of the below options to save his life or flee the province.

Focus the search among monks/pilgrims exiting the province
Focus the search among merchants exiting the province
Focus the search among peasants staying in the province

Its up to you to guess correctly. Let me know.

Note: Forsythio went into hiding/disguise after your forces entered the province, not having any men with which to present battle.

Please endeavour to answer the above by then.

Also feel free to send any more actions if you wish, I will process everything in the appropiate order once I get back.

Battle Report Day Phase

The 13th of September, Leonid-san hurried on to Totomi from Awaji direction with an army totalling: 0/21/4/6

In Totomi, 2 cavalry units from Takeda were the only garrison. Maneuvering quickly Leonid surrounded them and destroyed them easily without taking any significant losses.
(+8 Net bonus)

Spoiler:
I quickly rolled this and Tokugawa won 2-0, dont remember the exact rolls

Totomi had been recovered.

Totomi has been retaken by Tokugawa. This almost unopposed conquest slightly boosts Tokugawa reputation and diminishes that of Takeda. (+1) (-1)

Despite the Emperor's edict, this land had been owned by Tokugawa for a long time now and retaking it swiftly is perceived as a defensive action, rather than an offensive one, not incurring in any honour penalties for Tokugawa

Battle Report Day Phase

The 14th of September, right after learning that Leonid had been victorious in Totomi, Bobman hurried with 5 cavalry Units from Awaji, through Totomi, and into Edo.

In Edo, 2 cavalry units from Takeda were the only garrison. Bobman pressed on with his men and the battle began right away.

Spoiler:
(+5 Net Bonus for Tokugawa)

9-14
7-15

The battle was short-lived as Bobman's troops were more numerous and better lead. Edo had been recovered without any significant losses

Game Event, details on Forsythio:

Following the entrance of the Takeda forces in Totomi, General Forsythio had to hide in Totomi province. He was aided and sheltered by the peoples of Totomi, who had a very favourable opinion of him and the Tokugawa faction, and refused to cooperate with the Takeda forces that sought him out.

After some deliberation Forsythio realiced he had to choose one of the below options to save his life and/or flee the province.

Disguise among monks/pilgrims exiting the province and leave Totomi
Disguise among merchants exiting the province and leave Totomi
Disguise among peasants staying in the province (and stay in disguise in Totomi)

The Takeda forces, figuring out that forsythio's options were the ones outlined above, had to focus on just one of the above possibilities, being very short on men.

They figured Forsythio would be likeliest to hide among peasants and remain hidden until reinforcements arrived, so they searched intensely through farms and fertile terrains of the countryside. To no avail, because Forsythio had disguised himself as a merchan and left Totomi in direction to Awaji.

Forsythio has arrived safely in Totomi evading the Takeda forces!

The following day, Leonid retook Totomi for Tokugawa.

Communications are now restablished in the Tokugawa thread, since Totomi links up all the Tokugawa domains!!

Game Event, details on Sun Tzu:

Following the entrance of the Takeda forces in Edo, Tokugawa Ieyasu had to hide in Edo province. He was aided and sheltered by the peoples of Edo, who had a very favourable opinion of him and the Tokugawa faction (due to its excellent reputation), and refused to cooperate with the Takeda forces that sought him out.

After some deliberation Ieyasu realiced he had to choose one of the below options to save his life and/or flee the province.

Disguise among monks/pilgrims exiting the province and leave Edo
Disguise among merchants exiting the province and leave Edo
Disguise among peasants staying in the province (and stay in disguise in Edo, hoping that Tokugawa forces retake it soon)

The Takeda forces, figuring out that Ieyasu's options were the ones outlined above, had to focus on just one of the above possibilities, being very short on men.

They figured Ieyasu would be likeliest to disguise as a Merchant and exit the province, so they controlled heavily all caravans and merchants exiting the province. To no avail, because Ieyasu had disguised himself as a peasant and stayed in Edo waiting for his loyal men to free the province.

Eventually, Bobman-san retook Edo for Tokugawa, freeing Ieyasu.

Sun Tzu has come out from his hiding in Edo after evading the Takeda forces!

Shinobi instantly has informed from his advanced position in Wakasa that a very small infantry detachment is marching onto Nagato.

He also informs that a moderate infantry detachment with small cavalry support has been ordered onto Owari.

You may react to this news before I resolve the attacks. Please let me know what decisions if any do you take in light of this.

Many thanks
