Yeah but if you actually believed this you would be pursuing it. Instead you're saying "if" you believed something was more +EV then you'd do it - you're not actually doing anything at all and therefore doing something that is +EV is better than what you're doing.

Also you talked about being results oriented but the example you gave about dmk possibly being a super powerful protoss killer and therefore being bad for you to lynch if you're terran is just as results oriented (probably moreso), albeit results oriented before the event (yes it is possible to be results oriented before the event, it's normally a result of variance avoidance).

I think your attempt at promoting your 1v1v1 free for all is doomed to fail. You can stay independant if you like, but trying to convince players NOT to vote against opposing factions will never work.

This is not the same as trying to do something yourself, it's just stopping other people doing what they think is best. If you think another course of action is more +EV then you should be promoting that course of action, not just trying to stop the current one.

Okay, there is probably more of a burden of proof on me than you. I guess I'm only pursuing this because it's SO EFFING OBVIOUS THAT THE ALLIANCE CAUSED DMK TO CLAIM

Would he have claimed out of the blue? No, probably not, imo. His claiming will have always had a purpose

In this case it was in response to the alliance forming
