If you're playing a live low limit game you're gonna get eaten alive by rake. A lot of your strategic considerations revolve around rake. It's not like husng where rake is a sunk cost

i think in the 1/2 game i was playing i paid about 7bb an hour in rake and tips

i FINALLY played some live poker. i played 1-1-2. the button has to put in a dollar, and the house takes it even if there is no flop!

i sat at the table for 4 hours and i only won ONE hand! fml so hard. it was only for $30 too. but i played a 5th hour and won back most of my losses. i ended down $150 on the night.

at one point i folded for 45 minutes, then i 3bet to $20 and got 4 callers! lol ldo i lost the hand.

another hand i had 97s in the bb, and utg+1 raised it up to $8, and every single person called. so i put in $6 more to see the flop with $50 in the pot. i had $180 behind and flop was 2x5s6s. sb checked and i bet $40. i think i should have checked. i ended up getting stacked in a $700 pot. $200 max buy in

another guy called a 4bet with J7s. he paired his 7 on the flop and called a 3bet in a 4 way pot.

at one point there were 6 people at my table who were just absolute fish throwing money away and i couldn't win a hand to save my life
