Pokerscout shows the drop. At my penny games, I haven't really noticed it.

Nor have I noticed the SNG's filling that much faster on Intertops.

LOL @ Merge 6.0

Was down all morning. I think it was up sometime this afternoon then down again. A few hours ago the client said up in two hours. I watched the counter slowly decrease. Before the time was up, the counter was reset and now says the servers will be up in another two hours.

LOLOLOL

I see that Merge announced a $10,000 freeroll for this Sunday. It's a gesture to all it's players to say "Sorry for the giant F***Up of Merge 6.0"

I'm registered.

    Commentary:

    Spoiler:
I spaced out and thought that I had AK rather than AA until I looked at the hand history afterwards. And I still haven't decided how much worse this is with AA than AK. Obviously with AA it's a bit more likely I'm beat but in either case my value is coming mostly from floats/bluffcatchers. Meh?

Yes. Esfandiara was doing this to, I assume, circumvent the no phones while a hand is in play rule. Though I never saw him look at his notes during a hand. So yes, but I didn't see much utility. Never tried it myself.

With no history and if I think he is a competent player, I probably call, c/c river.

I don't think raising the turn makes much sense, and folding is very bad.

I'd call down, but I'm not too excited about it if he shoves river.

I think aa and kk are both played very bad if villain has them here.

I'd be a lot more likely to do that if I think he's not a competent player.

Competent players should be bluffing here a decent amount at that bet size imo

I was kinda confused because I never expect villains to raise better hands here, but at the same time it's pretty much the worst bluff card in history.

Anyways, I called obv because I've got a freakin' boat, river was a J and villain shoved. Are we just shrug calling here?

competent players don't try to bluff unknowns off of good full houses when they have small full houses

but when they have nuts/air they should

if your range has air in it then it's even worse to try to bluff an unknown off of a good full house

Yeah, I think this is a very bad bluff spot vs an unknown. So, are you guys calling river?
