Local Colorado casinos are starting to get 50/100 limit spread.

Huge games.. pretty insane. I'm surprised they can support games this big.

What's the max NL/PL games they spread for comparison?

100 max bet.

So 1-2/100 or 2-5/100.

Or sometimes 5-10/100 but still 100 max bet each street.

apparently there is a lot of room to do some nice things in a spread limit game like that-- things involving pot size manipulation

Lol I'm trying to force myself to stop tilting, so I've been stacking instead of tilling my tables, so that I never see the results of any hands.. Anyway, after my first session of doing that I looked through some hands and I am SO GLAD I stacked cus otherwise I would've tilted so bad (and note, all these hands are from 1 single session)

accidentally posted about this in the pub when I wanted to post it here

but there are 51 razz videos on stoxpoker. By comparison, there are only 3 triple draw videos

and the ones made by 'Dr. Razz' are pretty damn good.

Razz content on DC is also very good (not much though) and they do have some 3xdraw content (most noteably the "Tripple the Gold") series.

Also...supporting Stox sucks.

i can't help that the best razz content is on stox unfortunately.....

I've seen the triple the gold series and its pretty good-- although a lot of it is pretty basic and deathdonkey advocates a little bit of a laggier style than I think is best-- although he is dd and I'm me so he's probably right

there are a few td videos on cardrunners and I watched one and found myself saying "what!?!? thats horrible" a couple of times to the play...

I am 30 BIs and $1k under AIEV in the last 40k hands, and that doesn't even take into account the countless times I've been coolered or they've called off half their stack only to bink on the turn/river (and all the times people have setmined me in 3bet/4bet pots and hit). I even lost a $500 pot with 77<QQ on Q73 after he limp calls preflop

Was playing Rush Poker today...

Interestingly on the first hand, I did not get seated as the big blind.

I would love to know what is actual blind paying algorithm. I always assumed the person that hasn't payed the blinds the longest got the big blind.

But this clearly isn't true... Mainly, because of the above example. Also if you pay the big blind and then sitout for 10 min's and reenter. You won't get hit by the BB for several hands.

Hmm.

if two people are both playing their first hand then you won't always get dealt the big blind

i read the preamble when they first ran, and it said you always post first hand, and thereafter it's who at the table has gone longest w/out posting

I see... How do you define longest? I guess number of hands. So this would cover the sit-out case. Would ties be handled by a coin flip? Or are there tie breakers like longest to pay 2 blinds or 3 blinds etc...

The more interesting question is...what's the optimal # of hands to wait after being dealt the BB if you want to quit.

There's gotta be some math wizzardy possible on rush hands DBs to reverse the algorithm, too

I always assumed the correct answer is one SD... Or about 5-6 hands.
