A good POG game would be to make the best Venn diagram of the poggers who get along with each other.

The last few days I've been getting hungry at about midnight so I pad downstairs and fry myself some midnight bacon

it's the best kind of bacon

This is funny for Danes, because "bedste ven" (which "best Venn" sounds like) means "best friend".

I love carbs, they are the best. I eat them and then I have energy to run, jump, climb and ****. They also have a low weight to calorie ratio which is perfect for backpacking
09-15-2013 , 07:55 AM
On another note...

My bed's got a hole in it, I can't get no sleep. Woke up multiple times throughout the night to a deflated bed having to reinflate it. of course it didn't come with a patch kit, and of course I'm not going to use my pad's kit on this bed. So my options are buy a patch kit or send it for warranty for who knows how long.

Ill be sleeping on the floor with my sleeping pad for a few days because I feel they should be replacing or professionally repairing it.

this does not make sense to me.

a gram of carbs has about 4 calories
a gram of protein has about 4 calories
a gram of fat has about 9 calories

so fat has the best weight to calorie ratio

plus carbs are bulkier for a given weight than protein so carbs seem the least efficient backpaking food

I have heard of people carrying butter rolled in sugar, seems legit.

when you go hiking in the uk, one traditional thing you can carry is essentially a block of sugar, but others tend to be cakes that are lumps of butterandsugar.

There are other residual ingredients in food products and you know this. Why would I want to eat straight fat? You really think butter rolled in sugar is good to eat if you are hiking 15-20 miles per day with 30 pounds on your back?

we weren't discussing nutrition, we were discussing efficiency

Peanut butter, wheat thins, nilla wafers, almonds, cinnamon buns

This is true. I was assuming some semblance of nutrition although hikers are notorious for the levels of junk food they eat. Butter wrapped in sugar is still something ill never do because loose sugar ain't good for trying to keep bugs away at night, butter will melt or at least get super messy and it's **** butter wrapped in sugar I'm not eating that
