brag: beasted driving today

beat: a fine young asian woman almost caused a major accident

variance: she acknowledged her faux pas with one of those timid, lame handwaves

I've told this story before, but the first year my banker's bonus was really worth mentioning, I went out and splurged on some converse allstars and a £30 swatch watch

Hand wash with mild detergent in cold water, zipper fastened. Avoid twisting, wringing, and chlorine bleach. Reshape and lay flat to dry. Low iron. Store your cashmere clean and folded no hangers.

London people

What should I do in london. Im in boring docklands, but plan to go to the inner city tomorrow and thursday.

I like parcs, nice views, good food, and dont care for museums.

Angel/Upper street is ok, Old street -> shoreditch if you don't mind hipsters. The southbank if the weather's good. Who am I trying to pretend, I've been to london like 1 time in the last 5 years.

As long as it's not raining you could take a bag of nuts to Regents Park and feed the squirrels. Many of them will take food from your hand. I did it on Sunday and felt like King of The Squirrels (disclaimer: no idea if it's actually legal).

Hazlenuts and walnuts definitely work (hazlenuts>walnuts but you'd probably need a larger supermarket to buy them. I used walnuts on Sunday and they work fine) but other nuts would likely work too. Don't use peanuts (they're not nuts and aren't good for them).

You could probably do the same at other parks too. Hyde park is probably the nicest as long as there's no kind of music festival going on. Regardless of squirrels, if you like parks then Hyde park is worth checking out if the weather is nice.

Kokiri and Roo, I will certainly have a look there, with nuts in my hand (wait, what)

Let me know if you have any other tips

I was a fan of the various london pub walks (15 years ago) that the local tourist companies would offer. They were pretty fun.
