Perhaps Birdman is right. Perhaps I really do never think that I'm wrong. Because I'm completely astonished at where this thread has gone while I've been away.

I did think Cueball was trolling in the sense of "espousing something that he does not believe for the purposes of getting a rise out of the forum." I thought we were friendly enough that I could tease him about doing something like that without offending him. But I was apparently mistaken and will deal with that outside the thread.

One thing though, I'm a moderator, but that doesn't mean I can't make off the cuff remarks just like anyone else. "If VR thought he was trolling she would have infracted him, therefore it was just an abusive, argumentative tactic." I mean, really? Do you guys have any idea just how rare it is for me to infract anyone? I prefer to mod without infraction points whenever possible. I'd rather delete/send a pm/give a warning flag. Not that there haven't been some times that I would have infracted but another mod has gotten to it first, but I think it's been a couple of months since I actually gave someone points. I did tempban OTI but I think he knows that was affectionate, not serious, just like the 100 points I once gave him for embarrassing his gf.

Moderator actions are generally private, but for the record, since he's apparently decided to assassinate my character in this thread: infraction points I have given Birdman since he has been on the forum: 0. Infraction points he received for the "turbo rand" thread from soah: 0. I don't like him. But I don't think I've ever deleted a post by him either. I try not to let whether I like a person dictate moderator decisions. I would like to think that I wouldn't have made that particular post that I made to Cue to Birdman under the same circumstances, because we aren't friendly and I wouldn't joke with him. I can't say that with 100% certainty though because I've been pretty upset today and I might have said something nasty just to be nasty. But I certainly didn't mean to be nasty to Cueball.

I hope we can let this go now, regardless of what people's individual opinions of me as a moderator/person are.

either of my cats could beat up your cat

A squirrel could beat up my cat. She doesn't appear to know what her claws and teeth are for. Even when a person is doing something she hates, like holding her too tightly, all she does is squirm and wiggle. At the vet she doesn't even do that, she just huddles in a ball and looks at me with big eyes like "We can go home now, please please please?"

my cats squirm and wiggle for about 2 seconds

we've learned not to hold on longer than that.

i see cue's point.
jewish asian people are unnecessary except for the jokes. should we let natural selection take its course or does humor take precedence?

You guys had me reading it all back to see what this was all about.

Cueballs reactions show a lack of tact, as did the one by Reno. VR getting upset over this is totally in line imo and I dont care if she is a mod. She is just a member of POG first. Cueball taking his ball home is in line with his earlier actions. Birdman should have dealt with his lingering issues in another way.
